Lemming might be a better name.

What's funny is that, sometimes, I can see the whole "be ashamed of being white" aspect. Sometimes, it does feel like we spend our entire time, if you're white, backpedaling from the past.
But, come on. There are PLENTY of ways to celebrate your race, enjoy the good and the bad, without disparaging another race (or races) or denying history.
Nothing's wrong with being proud of who you are.
Ok, I shouldn't said that it's funny about them. What it is is sad. And frightening that this is the way their parents are raising them.
Also frightening? They might not have a platform on the level of Christina Aquilera to tout their philosophy, but that they have a platform at all should be cause for a little concern.

I'm being blocked from accessing their site at work. This message comes up:

has anyone actually heard them sing? They have no chance of ever making it in the main stream, a dying cat has better pitch and tone than these two. Not to mention they are offensive and I blame the parents 100%, they homeschool them so it's not really their fault they weren't exposed to the real world. They are in for a rude awakening if they ever venture out of their community.

Staticradar. They won't. That's the thing. They'll continue to associate mainly with those "like them" and will not have to be put in situations very often where they will have to deal with people unlike them. Except to highlight their own beliefs.

"see? {insert race here} are just like we were always told they were!"

"Lynx and Lamb are splitting their time these days between music lessons, home schooling, studio work, interviews for various mainstream press organs, and just having fun being young, talented and pretty"

Oy.
Well, at least they are one of the three.

staticradar, their site claims they attended public school...once, I think... it didn't specify... but that it was a lovely experience and that they won medals and other honors and made lots of friends. (Awwwwwww.)

They are my FAVORITE band. I am so glad you folks are stating to discover them, too. They played a Wal-mart near where I was working in Alabama. I bought their CD. Very talented and proud little girls.

Wow. They are really BAD. Yes, the message is horrifying, but I thought maybe they had a little talent. Nope. Click on "Your Daddy" MP3 for a good listen. The only thing that isn't offensive on this one is the message.

calm down people....

Betty, your posts, in this thread, actually seem much harsher than zones (which I don't find harsh at all)

Neddy, usuing the search feature is just a matter of courtesy, especially if it is unclear what your thread is about. We do not need 4 threads on this group.
And I thought this was a thread on Prussian Blue cats, as will youwant as she has one

I don't think anyone answered the question on page one (unless I missed it). They are called Prussian Blue because that is the color of their eyes, I believe. Not blue. PRUSSIAN blue.

For a very split second, I thought this was going to have something to do with Bob Ross...

I think you're all giving them far too much honour by bothering with them THAT much. I can't really believe they believe what they're saying, might be some terrible family influence...

What else can it be when children hate? I mean, I googled some of their lyics. It's just ridiculous. They keep talking about this war that is going to begin.

It's sad, because they're probably going to influence all of their bastard children to hate as well.
Oh, and those t-shirts on page one... very classy. (please excuse me while I go with the rest of my dark haired family to Temple to pray for the sake of out humanity)
