Quite saddened this morning to learn of Mark's passing. He and I had many discussions, publicly and privately, in the earlier days of BWW. I especially recall a terrific day and dinner we shared together in Chicago. A gifted, intelligent, well-meaning and lovely soul who is greatly missed as evidenced by the many personal tributes published here by the lives he touched.

every day is filled with thoughts of GLEBBY ... when i see an old movie (we watched THE WOMEN last night), when i see dance (we watched BORN TO BE WILD on dvd last night too), when i see a cute dog (we want another so badly) ... watched DOWNTON ABBEY on netflix and thought of GLEBB the whole time ... sigh ...

Some people are so full of life, so joyous in the living of their life, so much larger than life...it doesn't seem possible that they are no longer *here.* My mom was like this, and so was Glebby.

To everyone at BWW who knew him--whether personally or "virtually"--I share your sadness and your feeling that fortune smiled upon you by blessing your life with Mark's. Warm wishes for good health, constant love and ceaseless beauty in the coming year...and beyond.

I watched them earlier this evening and cried my heart out.
But many of those tears were through smiles.

Such a life he lived!

I'm so grateful to Ballet West for giving us all this incredible gift.

All of the photos and the footage are incredible.
But, the movies of him leaping and twirling for joy, and skipping down the stairs as a boy are just... they're just perfect.

We were blessed to know him.

The world was blessed by his beauty.
