Not really. She dared to wear one of those Black & white scarves you buy for $5 outside the subway and the conservatives went wild.

Maybe it's cause I live in NYC, but one quick glance at the still from the commercial and I could tell that wasn't a keffiyeh. I mean...come on.

LOL! but you're right, Borstal. I'm positive that most people who wear them have no idea what they're about. I actually liked them way back when they were trendy, but I didn't get one because of the PLO.
