Say it ain't so! China wasn't content to kill all of it's own dogs, now they are starting on ours!

Thanks for the different links.
Contaminated wheat from China.
Kind of a leap to go to the fact that they're killing our dogs...

I know tongue-in-cheek is a tad difficult to hear in the written word...
I was serious when I wrote about them killing the dogs in their own country, but don't really think that it was deliberate---but I doubt they will apologize...

...it's a terrifying situation for pet owners.
I hope it turns out not to be deliberate. Though the authorities don't seem to think it is.

I think this is unfortunately like the E coli outbreaks. Some things, as scary as it is, are just out of human control. I don't think any of these companies maliciously tried to harm people/animals. What would they have gained??
The only positive of the situation is that people did get warned as early into it as possible, which saved MANY animals lives. My heart goes out to the owners that did lose their beloveds to this though.

Magdalene, I got that you weren't serious, don't worry.
A dance classmate mentioned last night that her friend's kitten ate some of the food (before the recall) and just immediately died on the spot. So awful.

My cocker spaniel Baby had to get to vet this morning for convulsions, seizures, being disoriented and other things that I am not sure of.
She did eat this food, and I pray that this is not the cause and that she gets better!

I'm pulling for you and Baby, MTVMANN!
What makes this especially scary is that we recently got out eldest cat on wet food because she's diabetic (and already has some kidney issues) and needs to put on weight. But she hasn't been acting sick, so I'm cautiously optimistic for the time being.

Hooker also said that the toxin is not registered for legal use in the U.S. for rodent control.
Since when are New York hookers experts on rodent controll???
