Well, a few of them leaked. They are officially announced tomorrow.

Ron Howard, THE DAVINCI CODE

Personally, I don't think THE WICKER MAN, LADY IN THE WATER, or THE DAVINCI CODE were Razzie material. Whatever.

I don't think DaVinci and Lady were that bad, but The Wicker Man was one of the worst movies. I couldn't imagine a more thorough bastardization of a classic.

I mean...it was bad, yes. I still crack up laughing whenever I think of Ellen Burstyn running around with her arms in the air like a flower child on shrooms.

I didn't even think DAVINCI and LADY were bad films. I enjoyed DAVINCI, though found it disappointing - and I thought LADY was exactly what he intended it to be - though putting himself in the film was a little sick. I own it, and the first time I saw it in theatres, I actually cried at the end - I thought it was very moving.

Yes, THE WICKER MAN is bad - but there are far worse films this year.

THE FOUNTAIN should have been nominated. And I can't believe ULTRAVIOLET didn't get nominated - ULTRAVIOLET was unbearable.

Don't get me wrong, I thought DaVinci was kind of fun after the first half-hour (which was dull, imho). Lady was just... um, yeah.

I didn't think DaVinci was that bad at all. Ian McKellen was fabulous, and it had really good visuals.

Perhaps they're desperate for bad movies. Take the Oscars, for example. In a weak year, they tend to nominate mediocre films/performances. Maybe it's the same with the Razzies, but instead of working down, they work up.

Da Vinci Code wasn't that bad, just mildly disappointing. Not a crappy movie though, and it shoudn't be "razzed."

Lady In the Water, on the other hand, was completely TERRIBLE, and does deserve to sweep these awards. I only stayed because I went to see it with my dad, and he didn't want to walk out on it. This shows you how much I love my father. I stayed through the entire Lady in the Water... just for him.

Now, that's love.

CLERKS II was one of the best films last year in my opinion.


Anyway, "The Da Vinci Code" was not bad at all. I mean, it wasn't the best movie last year, but it was far, far, far from the worst.

I actually cried at the end - I thought it was very moving.

I would like to know if there was any drink or illegal substances involved in your screening of this movie. This movie probably would have been fabulous on pot brownies and tequila.
