What's your opinion? I'm planning on seeing Finding Neverland again today but I'm not sure.

I'm all for re-watching movies...If it's something I enjoyed, I can watch it over and over (and over and over!) again. I saw FN twice (though the second time was movie hopping, so it was free!) and I still enjoyed it the second time around.

The only one movie I've seen recently I won't see again is Boogeyman.

That's why pre-recorded video tapes and DVD's are such a success. As for paying to see a movie, more than once, my record is 53.

I think I paid to see Chicago about 7 times when it was initially released. I took different people each time I went. You always find something new in the film when you see it each time.

It doesn't matter how many times you go see it as long as you enjoy it. And hey, it's your money isn't it?

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind practically requires a second viewing. And I've watched "Cell Block Tango" approximately 23 times.

Outside of things like that, though, I don't rewatch movies very often. There's too many I have yet to see, and not nearly enough time. :)

I watch almost every movie I see at least twice, because I always find things upon the second viewing that I missed the first time. Lately, the movie I've been seeing a lot is "Sideways" (5 times since October in the theatre.) I've seen "Eternal Sunshine" quite a few times as well. It really does require a second viewing.

I give most movies a second chance. I hated "The Truman Show" when I saw it in theatres. I saw it again, on video. It is now one of my favorites.

I saw "Finding Neverland" a second time, and liked it less. Some films ("Signs", "The Shining", "Mulholland Drive", "Good Will Hunting", "The Bourne Identity", etc.) were MUCH better the second time around.

"Mulholland Drive" needs to be watched over and over again. It seriously gets better every time you watch it.

Other than quality, there's only one other reason I'll watch a movie multiple times, and that reason is trans-Atlantic air travel. I watched Big Fish 3 times because of that.

MEF-

It's so wierd. Everytime I watch "Mulholland Drive", the more emotional it becomes. It resonates really well once you figure out the "secret".

PS - This will sound strange, but the more I watch "Mean Girls", the more I appreciate Lohan's performance. Updated On: 3/5/05 at 05:19 PM

LOTR trilogy
Newsies(therefore hence the name)
Old Star Wars movies
Almost Famous
A Beautiful Mind
The Commitments
Sleepless in Seattle
Kate and Leopold

and tons of Disney movies when I was little.

I think it's okay to watch movies over again just for the hell of it.

Re-watching movies is totally normal, I do it all the time. Take The Outsiders for example. It's my fave movie, and I own it, so I've watched it about...4 times.

For some weird and odd reason I love watching that movie. I guess because I used to be an avid fan of Ben Foster's when I was much younger.

I am the KING of re-watching movies. I just watch them over and over and over. My mom hates it.

I've watched Chicago 76 times and haven't seen it in about 6 months. I can't, I mean 76 times is just overkill!

And the number one movie I've watched literally too many times to count...The Wizard of Oz! Seen this baby over 100 times AT LEAST.

i'm all about rewatching movies.

I have no clue how many times that I've seen CLUE and HEATHERS.

In the movie theaters, the only movie that I've seen more then twice was LITTLE WOMEN. Winona is my favoritest movie actress of all time.
