I've tuned in to the ABC Red Carpet special. Robin Roberts is hosting with Tim Gunn and a few others.
I enjoyed many of the movies this year, so am looking forward to cheering on my favorites.
And by favorites, I mean Colin Firth!

Didn't love Jennifer Hudson's dress. Not the best fit...
Loved Mandy Moore's gown. Elegant!

Posted: 2/27/11 at 7:16pmI didn't notice it at first glance but Moore's dress actually has a very thin layer of mesh up to the neck to give the illusion that it's a bared shoulder dress. The effect is stunning. She is incredibly beautiful and sexy.

I switched over to ABC. I'm so happy that about the choir from Staten Island is performing. To think, I was posting links to their YouTube performances onto my Facebook page over a year ago!!
I usually only see one movie a year. That was "The King's Speech" which I saw just last week. I loved it and hope they pick up some awards tonight.

Addy, I was just thinking the same thing. Tim Gunn said her dress was great and I went "Wait, what?"

Haven't seen any of the nominated movies, but I like Anne Hathaway.
Nicole Kidman's dress is ugly. And Hilary Swank's was nice from the waist up. Kind of shocked seeing Sandra Bullock in red.

Hudson has too good of a figure now to have her "girls" bound like that. The color worked for her, and the design was good, but the fit ... not so much.
Thought Mandy looked great. Liked Hailee, too, sans the headband. I know she's fourteen, but that headband said "Sylvester Stalone's mother" to me, not "young."
Cate Blanchet looks like a wedding cake.
