Posted: 2/27/11 at 8:49pmSo upset Roger Deakins did not win for cinematography. And I had secondhand embarrassment for Wally Pfister unconsciously having his glasses rest on his forehead.

Yep.
With all due respect, that wasn't comfortable.

I'm really bored.

this may be appealing to the 'younger demographic' but it's interminable to me. Bring back the old crocks. At least they kept the show moving.
A click for life.

What were they thinking?
I'll give credit to Anne Hathaway. She's trying hard, and is charming.

I keep forgetting Christian Bale is actually a lorry driver and not, you know, an actor since he was six.

I thought Kirk was hilarious.....I admit, in the beginning I was a little uncomfortable but I found him charming and admirable!
The Anne/Hugh J. thing was great and I am loving James Franco more and more - I want to party with him!!!!!

If you smooshed Helen Mirren and Cate Blanchett together, you'd have a 57-year-old Helen Mirren. Or Cate Blanchett.

Thoughts on tonight so far:
I was so pleased to see people chose "The Trolley Song," "My Heart Will Go On," and "Beauty and the Beast" as some of their favorite songs from a motion picture. So far no suprises tonight. I knew Leo and Bale would win. Bale's speech was 1 million times better than his Golden Globes speech. Very pleased "Toy Story 3" won Best Animated Puicutre.

Who is the hot guy with Kevin Spacey?
beauty, I was glad that they at least included some older songs. It seems that was also a part of trying to appeal to a younger audience.
My favorite dress of the night is Cate's. I am wondering if they are sorry they got Franco to co-host. I think he is awaful. Poor Anne is pretty much carrying it on her own and doing a good job. JMO
