I still continue to love Bob, but I'm also firmly in the Thorgy Thor camp- she's delightful. Chi Chi also turned it the hell out- she's more of a force than I would have expected. And Acid Betty, despite her good performance, is just an unpleasant personality. I also wasn't wild about her look for the runway- it was stunning, but nothing about it was really red carpet.
I guess if Ru has to bring a queen back, I'd rather it be someone interesting from a past season than a queen who isn't going to make it past the end of the episode. It's also a comedy challenge, so I imagine Bob will finally get some face-time with the judges.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Dear god, no. She was one of the worst queens the show has ever had- utterly clueless and devoid of talent. I'd rather see the return of Laganja, who at least was highly entertaining in her insanity.

Fat, older, bitter queen -- fine.
Delta Work's agonizingly unfunny, gloomy and a general downer in every way type queen -- not fine.
I imagine someone with some skill and energy who's willing to kick some ass and BRING IT will be revealed. Someone like Raven or Manila.

I mean, I don't see that happening for various reasons, but I'd LOVE to have all of Willam's AS2 drama and his "Toderick said Ru said..." stuff was just to throw people off the scent and he shows up. However, he was active/giggin' during filming. Did any previous queen disappear during that time?

Aren't three of the seven past winners Comedy Queens? Sharon, Jinkx, and Bianca are comedy queens; BeBe, Tyra, and Violet are Pageant Girls; and I don't really know what Raja is - isn't he primarily a make-up artist, and a drag performer only occasionally?

Yeah. Raja isn't much into the lip-sync life. She creates a look and then presents it, mouthing to a song. There was a lot of that in season 7. This year has some great competition. I love Bob, but I don't see him going that far unless he knocks one out of the park soon. I am all-in for Thorgy.

So the other night I was going through Hulu and decided to watch the first episode of season 7 again, mainly because I couldn't even remember who all the girls were. So I watched it and then watched the next one and the next one and so on until I was halfway through the season. And then last night, I finished it up. The weird thing is - I really liked it. I mean, there was no reason to give Violet the crown and sending Katya home will always rank as the worst mistake Ru had ever made but binge watching it, it's a completely different show to me than it was last year and I can't understand why...

You're right...Bianca is. I quit watching after the All-Star season due to my work schedule. But I knew who Bianca was, and was happy to see she was on the show and won!
Still, I like Bob.

We tried to see Raja at LoveGun in Brooklyn. Show schedule for 11:30pm....it was nearing 2am and she was outside smoking a cigarette. So we gave up.
Could it be the one from the first episode coming back? Or we did he say it was a past queen?
