I just can't follow when he's just an entertainer and when he's something much more important.

Well, I don't consider him important because of his being just a radio talk show host. All of them have agendas based on show business ratings, I think.
So, no, I never could take Rush or any of them seriously. It seems the more outrageous they are (think Glenn Beck), the more popular they get, the higher the ratings, hence, more money.I don't think they even care what they're saying, just as long as it's affecting people.

i compared his death to that of a parasitic whale that bled the american people dry sucking at the trough of public funds while he should have been rotting at the bottom of a windowless, airless cell for murder.

As a Canadian I'm somewhat removed from the intimacy of the arguments on the relative merits of Mr Limburger as a person, radio host or political pundit. When I have been forced ( ie trapped in a car being driven by the cars' owner) to listen to him I have been shocked and appalled by his horrible English skills, if nothing else.
I am intrigued by this argument " no one deserves to die". Hitler didn't deserve to die? Pol Pot? Ceausescu? My list is far too long to include here.
The one saving grace to Mr. Limbroughhaha, is that he has no actual power to effect his highly unpleasant world view for which ( being stuck w Stephen Harper as a PM) I can tell you to give thanks daily to whatever power of the universe you choose.
