I would ask for examples of why you hate Limbaugh so much, but we've been through this before. All you will do is cherry pick examples where you haven't listened to the comment in its context.

I can't believe he's resorting to the context card.

"Who wished for the guy to die?"
I did, for one. I stated quite succinctly that I hope he croaks. And I meant it.

You did. I stand corrected.
But he died already, so it's not like you made it happen!

Daytime moderation must be different from nighttime moderation, because less incendiary posts by me and Roscoe were deleted last night.
Ya know...I love Ab Fab. Got the complete Ab Fab for Xmas from a very dear friend.
One of my favorites was Patsy at the side of her stroke-stricken mother. The mother goes on and on about her life, and Patsy finally turns and says, 'Oh just DIE ALREADY.'
Thinking of that episode today.

Patsy's mom is in my thoughts and prayers.
Rush has been living in the Valley of the Dolls for years-it was only a matter of time.

Has anyone heard from June Whitfield lately?

I know June was very pleased when the thin person inside Rush finally got out.

What happened to that guy? Did Rush eat him?
Mistook him for an Oxy. So he chopped him into lines and snorted him.
Yeah. You gotta show love for a guy who was found with Viagra in his bags returning from "vacationing" in a country with well known child prostitution. Just sayin'.

I think you are taking that out of context.
He once told a black caller that he couldn't understand to, "Take that bone out of your nose and call me back."
On the NFL: "Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it."
On Abu Ghraib, "It's sort of like hazing, a fraternity prank. Sort of like that kind of fun," and, "I'm talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of emotional release? You ever heard of need to blow some steam off?"
Hell, he called Going Rogue, "truly one of the most substantive policy books I've read."
None of those were taken out of context.
hey, have fun. i had a blast dancing a jig when that fat, murderous, waste of flesh kennedy joined his brothers in hell.

What happened to The Noble Goth?
Rush needs you here!
I was painting the front of my house one day, and my neighbors were doing some home improvements as well. They had the radio blaring Rush Limbaugh, whom I had never heard "all the way through." Well, for hours I was forced to endure the man.
Yes, I have heard him "in context," and he is more vile than I could have imagined.
And it's not because of his "conservative" views. It's the way he has chosen to market them -- and market himself -- that I find disturbing. I guess I don't understand what good he is doing.
Even corrupt and inept politicians can effect positive change, even if it is inadvertent. I just don't see how Limbaugh does that. (Then again, I never "got" the appeal of Tom Cruise, and he's loved by millions.)
Who was it that said, 'Death is sad. Except when it's not.'?
I like that one.
He says such outrageous and ridiculous things, but I'm surprised it's taken so seriously. It's showbusiness shtick. He's a big blowhard.
