Seriously, it was like as if Michael Patrick King wrote like maybe six episodes and threw them in a blender, left out most of the good parts, then focused on the glitz, glamour and fashion side of Sex and the City and then focused his last bit on making a decent and coherent story. I swear, that movie was SO focused on fashion that it took away what I loved most about the series. The relationships between Carrie and her friends, their witty dialouge (I mean there are HARDLY any funny moments in the movie) and fantastic character development. It's like the story and writing took a backseat to aethetics. I REALLY hope the next movie captures what made SATC such a great series.

After she saw the movie, my friend Nicole said, "I really liked it, but there was part in the middle where Sarah Jessica Parker looked like sh*t for a really long time..."
I liked the first movie in the theater, but it plays better at home, because I think - and I don't mean it in a negative way - it DOES play like a short season of the show.

I saw a photo where SJP and Kim Cattrall were basically doing an 80s flashback. I wonder where they could be going with this.
Jordan- It also kinda looks like JCM as Hedwig who looked a bit like Rachel Griffiths as Hedwig.
