There were some really touching moments in this week's episode.
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this show? And Ichabod...
one of my new favorites!
Especially at the end. I was thisclose to tears.
Next episode airs I think January 13, followed by a two hour season finale. Info here

Great SLEEPY HOLLOW cover story on TV Guide for next week. Very excited that Victor Garber will be appearing as Ichabod's father in the two-hour season finale. Tom Mison is just so handsome...
Yes, Mr. Mison is so very fine...
I'm also looking forward to seeing Victor Garber as Crane Senior.

Good news: New episode tonight, Jan. 13.
Bad news: only the two hour finale to come, and we are done till next season. I'll miss this show.

No spoilers for tonight's episode but I have to remark that these special effects are some of the more extraordinary I have ever seen on tv. And the humor is still twinkling - the clothing issue is kind of addressed tonight!
OMG, what an episode!!!!!! Loved the "demon trouser" LOL...
Skinny jeans!
I kept the episode on my Tivo for that scene alone.
A great first scene indeed. Gotta say Mr. Mison is very svelte...
To correct my comment above, Tom referred to them as "the DEVIL's trouser, not demon.
I hadn't realized how svelte he was until I saw him in the skinny jeans.
Not surprised he couldn't sit down in them!
I also loved the scene when he was working the remote.
I could just gaze at him for hours on end...
But, truly, the brilliance of this show is the whole package (no pun intended). I love the combination of writing, acting and special effects.

I can't wait for next week's 2 hour finale. And yet...when it's over we'll have to wait until the fall for more episodes, so I almost don't want it to get here.
Sigh. Ichabod has quite the bod.
NYAdgal I agree 100% with everything you've said. Bluemoon hopefully the dvd will be out soon and will be full of bloopers in addition to the episodes.
Ooh - I would love a DVD of bloopers. I'll bet there were many, and, given the chemistry of the leading man and lady, I'll bet they were fabulous.
(I have it on good authority from my friends at FOX that this cast will be at the Upfront programming announcements in May. Can't. Wait.)
I just saw an extended trailer for Monday's episodes on FB -- no proper link to share and I don't see it on YT -- OMG, think we are really going to be put through the wringer! If I find a link I'll post it.
Edited: I found it:

OMG!!!!! What a fabulous preview! This will be the kind of episode you'll have to watch twice, just in order to catch everything.
Confession: after Monday night's gruesome episode I had trouble sleeping two nights in a row. Maybe it's best if I watch this in daylight hours.
And if those vigilante gun nuts continue to whine and make threats on the SH Facebook page again, I'm giving Moloch their home addresses.

Moony, I've loved watching you take on the vigilante gun nuts who post on the Sleepy Hollow page on Facebook! Go, Moony, Go!
I'm going to be out on Monday, so will have to watch this after it airs. Or very late Monday night when I get home. I don't know if I'll be able to wait!
Kec, thanks for the preview link. I can't watch right now, but can't wait to see it when I get home.

Woah - Addy you'd be very brave to watch this at home alone very late at night. Then again, in your line of work, you're used to running on very little sleep.
I'll sleep with the lights on...
A couple more of those "gun nuts" have posted; one to announce he's removed Sleepy Hollow from his dvr and the other to chastise the writers for the "attack" on the second amendment. *rolleyes*

I saw that. I got really suspicious on Wednesday when, at of a sudden, 4 or 5 of them posted about the scene - all at once. I suspect they got some sort of message on some blog or group page, telling them to defend the constitution on the fan page. I looked at a few of their FB profile (curious as to what kind of person thinks like that) and they all belong to ultra right-wing groups. A number of them want to move to Texas, then leave the union, most of them are Tea Partiers, many see law enforcement officers as "gestapo" and one belongs to a "White American Rights" group. All in all, they put the "nut" in gun nut.
After Wednesday I washed my hands of them and stopped posting. There's no way to argue with ignorant loonies.
(speaking of, it's been so nice around here being more-or-less troll free recently)
I stopped reading the updates on the Facebook page because they really were a bunch of loons!
