DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YA: Saturday Night Live parting ways with Horatio Sanz, Chris Parnell and Finesse Mitchell, NBC confirmed Wednesday. The 32nd season of the show kicks off Sept. 30, with host Dane Cook, musical guest The Killers and...whoever else is left.
******
so, with those three gone and dratch and fey not returning, who is left on the show?!?
Sanz and Mitchell can go, but I think Parnell is one of the most talented people ever on the show.
Dratch is leaving for realz?
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
I can't remember the last time this show was funny. I'm surprised they haven't already overhauled it or canceled it.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Yuck, Dane Cook bombed last time he was on. Why is he invited back. Horatio Sans can't keep a straight face, I it's not easy being high in every episode.
Fortunatly for us, we have the stellar MadTV cast! Anyone catch the High School Musical sketch? It wasn't a great episode, but there is always next week. SNL on the other hand has had several really bad years lately. I can't believe it hasn't been cancelled.

I believe she was cast in "Thirty Rock" the "other" SNL-like show that Tina Fey created.
Glad to see Sanz and Mitchell leave-- please tell me Fred Armisen is headed out also. He has never made me laugh. And his recurring "Person who think he's funny but isn't" sketches (Native American Stand up, Cuban drummer, whatever) are PAINFUL to watch.
Thanks, Joe...I get 30 Rock and Studio 60 mixed up.

Dratch is still a series regular on 30 Rock but her original role has been taken over by Krakowski. Now, Dratch will play a variety of characters, this week a maid, next week a male cousin of a person on the show, etc. It is the last nod to the sketch comedy aspect of the show, apparently. Originally, 30 Rock was going to feature scenes from the show within a show, "The Girlie Show." When they canned that aspect, they wanted a different lead (read: prettier).
