For the 2 nd straight week, SNL had a great show

Loved the Spitzer parody & the French Def Jam guy on weekend update. Mr Demi Moore was funny as well.

I HATE the French Def Jam thing. There aren't many skits Keenan does though that I actually enjoy.

The French Def Jam skit is like the only REALLY stupid sketch that I cackle at. Every time he dances, I howl.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

And now it's time to play "What IS Burn Notice?"

Armisten and Wiig as the singing couple really annoyed me. They are really getting tired, since all their characters are the same.

And, see, Jon, I laugh my ass off at the singing couple.

It's obvious that Fred is trying to make Kristian break, and she was on the verge of it all night last night.

I have no idea why I find it so funny, I just do.

The singing couple was the only thing worthwhile last night, IMO. Wiig can do no wrong. Yes, her characters are essentially all the same. I'm like you Diva - not sure why it's so funny - but had me in stitches. More Kristen Wiig please!

I will say though that during that skit, I kept waiting for Andy to say "Say hi to your Mother for me". lol

In my opinion, they should have opened the show with that skit.

I have a special fondness for last night's show -- because I was there! SNL Does It Again For the dress rehearsal at least. I haven't watched the live show yet to see what was cut (I have my guesses on what didn't make it though).

BTW, the Rahm Emanuel thing was pre-taped.

I wasn't that impressed but I did spend an inordinate amount of time parsing the phrase "Slender fingered teenage slave boy with horse penis."

And I only bought grapes today because they were on sale.

Best SNL of the season.

The Wanda Sykes Show was also pretty fantastic last night.

I hate the singing couple. So annoying. I thought the Oscar nomination skit was hilarious. I liked how Jersey Shore was nominated yet NIne was still robbed.

Did they? I liked that better than the grape sketch.

My guess after seeing it was that they'd cut:
That bizarre sketch in the bluegrass/barbecue place
The sleepy teenager character on Weekend Update

Jon Hamm's week was better, but the Rahm Emmanuel thing was hilarious. Andy Samberg is the MVP on that show for sure.

The grapes skit was painful. I expected the View skit to be funnier. Is it just me, or did there seem to be an unusually strong focus on Don't Ask Don't Tell in this episode?

I actually enjoyed the Oscar nomination skit and the game show. Usually the skits after Weekend Update suck (at least back when SNL was good they did), but these two were pretty funny!
