Same as usual

A great political opening sketch & downhill from there. It gets worse every year

Tried watching Wanda Sykes but when she started the "Everyones After Obama Pity Party" rant, I gave up. I will try again next week.

I loved the Twilight parody and am always happy to see Penelope.

The cold opening was very good. I also love the View parody, as I always do!.

Whomever was doing Baba Wawa was terrific!

I forgot to say that I loved Weekend Update (as always), but was disappointed that there was no joke about the woman who passed her driving exam on her 950th try. I liked the joke when Seth said "This week, in celebration of the now growing economy, big ticket items were bought like elections and world series."

So, Roxy, at what point did you actually turn off SNL? Because something tells me your assessments are never based on entire episodes.

The TWILIGHT skit and the last skit for the MUSIC INSPIRED BY soundtrack were the only ones that were even remotely amusing. Taylor Swift (AND her boyfriend) needs to go away...now. That "monologue" song was like torture, and her actual "songs" are even worse... she is a terrible, terrible actress and that Scared Straight parody skit made me uncomfortable she was so bad.

Wiig and Moynihan, AS ALWAYS, owned the night. Wiig gets better and better and the material gets worse and worse...

... And I thought Gerard's pretty wonderful episode was a sign of GOOD things to come.... ah, well...

I missed most of it. I caught Penelope... which Taylor ruined.

I really enjoyed Taylor's opening monologue. It has been the first monologue in years that has made me actually LOL, it seems like.

Taylor is not only beautiful and talented but she was also funny.

I thought this skit was pretty funny

Of course, this skit is probably what Roxy was upset over.

I thought the cold opening weak, but Taylor Swift's monologue song was wonderful- and she was a terrific performer.

It was a decent episode, but Taylor wasn't really doing anything any other host wouldn't be capable of. She's no Justin Timberlake, that's for sure. Firelight, Update (always nice to see Amy again), and Nasim's codependent roommates sketch were probably the highlights of the night for me.

Oh! And the five-to-one Bunny Business sketch was hilarious. My friend and I were watching it together and could not stop laughing for some reason. Taylor's Shakira was actually pretty spot-on - when Shakira was the musical guest a few weeks ago I kept making fun of her mom-like arm movements, which TS totally nailed. Basically, everything that wasn't a retread (Penelope? Scared Straight? Eh.) was pretty decent.

She's a cute kid with a little talent, but I sure don't get what the big deal is.

She did do a pretty funny job as Kate Gosselin (sp?) as a View guest host. But all in all she was better as the musical guest. But any episode that has Penelope and Seth and Amy's Really!?! is better than okay by me. Keenan Thompson's Whoopie has also gotten alot funnier as well.
