SORDID LIVES: More Crap on the LOGO channel

Mindbogglingly bad. Poor Bonnie Bedelia. She should come to Bway and do AUGUST. Otherwise this show is perfect for those who are out of prunes.
Do you know what happens when you let Veal Prince Orloff sit in an oven too long?

This has been sitting on my Tivo but I can't bring myself to watch it...Thanks for the heads up. If I want "gay entertainment", I'll go to Bravo, not Logo!

Seriously, Logo has been losing any spark it might have once had. I'm sick of craptastic lesbian reality shows or having to watch a censored to death version of Queer as Folk (seriously, if it's aired on a digital channel targeted towards a GLBT audience, late at night, and with a warning, why not show it in its entirety?).

re: SORDID LIVES:

You're right DMsquared2. The show IS as good as the movie. Sooo how is that bad?
The movie is a cult-classic comedy.

Someone said they're sick of reality shows. Exactly what makes this such a nice departure.

I've never seen anything else on Logo, so I really can't complain or praise their style of networking; but I think this show is hilarious.
It's also my understanding that the first two episodes were strictly to introduce characters. After that it delves more into character developement and plot.
I wouldn't dismiss it so soon.

I lost interest in Logo after they dropped Noah's Arc. I am actually surprised that the movie is going to be released. Noah's Arc: Jumping the Broom is set to be released this September.

re: SORDID LIVES:

I thought it was kind of fun, and everyone in it was quite good, especially Bedelia. The only weak actor, imo, was the lead kid...who's the producer, right?

It's as good as alot of stuff on the networks, and quite tivo worthy.

I will agree that someone needs to get ahold of the programming on logo. I loved it in the beginning with "Coming Out Stories" and "gay guy for the gay person" makeover show. I also liked Will Wigel (sp) on their travel show. For awhile now it has been reruns of stuff produced in the first year, NewNowNext (no thanks) or the short film show, where they keep showing the same stuff. I used to check what was on regularly, but hardly bother anymore due to all the reruns.
