WHEN SOMEONE MAKES A MEAN POST ABOUT WICKED, ITS LEFT ON THE MESSAGE BOARD!! ITS PISSING ME OFF BECAUSE WHEN I MAKE A POST ABOUT HOW BAD AVE Q IS, A MODERATOR DELETES IT (BUT THE MEAN ONES ABOUT WICKED ARE STILL THERE). ITS SO STUPID AND UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, but Im with itsucks2beaveq. I dont care what shows are being trashed, one should not be left while the other is deleted. Freedom of speech...

i think suckstobe needs to rethink their approach to how they go about stating opinions on shows. if it was less...irate, i think they wouldn't be deleted.

I didn't want to get involved in this, but maybe it's because some other posts that aren't deleted include valid opinions rather than simply statements in ALL CAPS about why you CAN'T STAND a certain show. Try stating your opinion and not just bashing something... try having a civil discussion.

True, but it must be annoying when everything you post is deleted. Not taking sides, but there are valid points on either side. The posts about Wicked are left up, though, so why cant the posts about Ave. Q be too?? Believe me, some of the Wicked haters here arent very rational when speaking about Wicked.

I'm not a moderator of this website, but I have been an online moderator for four years.

It might be best if you would:

1) Not use ALL CAPS as in an interactive online enviorment, it means you are shouting, and therefore is considered rude.

2) Do not use offenseive language, including cursing.

3) State your opinions without criticizing those who oppose your views.

4) Complain about deleted posts via e-mails to administrators, and not on a public message board.

I guess the wicked fans have grown numb to all the hate. Lots of the time it's not even the show that's receiving the bashing; it's the fans.

You know, I have contacted two administrators via PM and have never gotten a response.

I'm not sure about the load of e-mails and PMs they receive, but I sent my messages weeks ago, and should have gotten some response by this point.

i think the reason those wicked fans are "bashed" is because they aren't open to other opinions, use out of this world remarks concerning the show, and fail to recognize the weaknesses that every show, yes including wicked, posess.

I for one am a HUGE Wicked fan, but I realize the weaknesses in the score that are obvious, and the sometimes weak parts of the book. I defend my Wicked love with the the amazing songs in its score and the touching parts of the book.

Yes, true, all musicals/plays have their minor flaws (ie Prymate and Laughing Room Only). No shows are perfect. One can only pray that all shows were, and if they all were perfect, Broadway would run out of theaters to put shows in and there would be no Tony awards. (shiver)

why should one be forced to open their eyes to flaws? If they like it, they like it. If they think it's perfect, then it's perfect to them. Their opinion of it being perfect is equal to your opinion of the weaknesses in the score. Maybe some fans don't think there's anything wrong with the score or the book. It's just opinion vs. opinion, and wicked fans are always getting hit by other people's.

It is all about how you give your opinion on a show. I really do not think Craig gives a **** what show you do not like, he just likes mature postings that state a good reason why you dislike the show. This thread should be deleted anytime, also, because of your 'approach.'
