as an official board terrorist and public enemy #2 of the chat room, i would like to speak for a moment about the policy of thread and post deletions and that of the moderators propensity to respond to pms.

first the deletions - if your post is filled with profanity, you should expect it to be deleted. if your thread title contains profanity, expect it to be deleted. if your thread or post serves absolutely no purpose save blindly attacking a show without any basis in critical judgement, you might see it get deleted. if you personally attack another member, not their views, but the person, your thread and or post might get deleted. if you post those nudes of craig and the parrot that have been floating around the internet your post might get deleted (after all this is a family board and no one needs to see that).

with regard to pms - the boys probably do get an exhorbitant amount of pms which read, "that [expletive deleted] so and so called me a such and such and i think they should be banned form the board and i can't believe you let them say it now what the [expletive deleted] are you going to do about it?" and "you [expletive deleted] how can you let that thread about such and such stand? that so and so who posted it is a [expletive deleted] and is gonna bring down this whole [expletive deleted] site. people are leaving right and left because of his/her [expletive deleted] posts. now what the [expletive deleted] are you going to do about it?" now of course i don't know this personally, but judging from some of the posts that people make about what they've said to our intrepid leaders, i think it's a safe assumption. in my experience both the moderators have been pretty fair and good about answering pms. maybe it's all in how you speak to them.

if a pain in the a** troublemaker like me can get a response, then pretty much anyone can if you take the time to show a little respect for the guys who work so hard to keep this site up and running and available for us to complain about.
