ETA: I really think these "Truthers" suffer from a mental disorder. They should NOT be allowed guns!

Anderson Cooper did an entire story about this...and then they trageted and threatened Andy. They've always been around, it's just that the lunatic fringe is now on the radar in this age of instant "news". IMO, this is NOT news. They should be ignored, (but dealt with unpublicly by the proper authorities). Just insane conspiracy theorists. They're ALL monitored by the FBI.

These people are literally incapable of handling reality. They cannot accept that bad things happen. They cannot accept that someone snaps, or that terrorists plot, or that diseases mutate. They are scared of the reality they live in. They are scared of the fact things happen at random and they cannot control them.

So they delude themselves into thinking it's all being controlled. And that it's all against them.

It breaks my heart that these conspiracy theorists are doing this. This community has suffered an immense loss...of life...of children...of educators...of human life...they are still healing. It angers me that these psychos with their little theories are harrassing them..,subjecting them to more pain...it's inconceivable to me.

It can't be that hard to understand what happened. The older brother of the shooter was arrested nowhere near Newton, CT because his younger brother's only ID at the crime scene was his older brother's old ID. They quickly cleared the older brother of any involvement. However, initial reports said two suspects, one dead, because of the ID confusion. There was never a claim of a second gunman but the truthers will scream until they're blue at the face that nuh-uh, there were two gunmans and they can prove it cause they heard it on the CB.

Is it that shocking that there was someone who once appeared in a commercial who lived in Connecticut? Really? Cause that's one of the smoking guns of the conspiracy theory and where the whole government hired actors thing comes from. These are also the same people who believe the Aurora shooting and 9/11 were staged because Israel.

There was also a man found in the woods who was handcuffed. Turned outhe was one of the 2nd Grader's father who was on his way to the school to help out with his son's project. Cops chased him down and handuffed him and placed him in a police car. Once his identity was cleared he was released. Anderson Cooper reported on this last night.

I'm curious though, what is their rationale for why the government would stage something like this.

We are nearing the one year mark of this tragedy. This massacre still looms over Newtown and the entire state of Connecticut, as the assistant DA has taken the Associated Press to court in an attempt to keep the 911 calls sealed (a judge is currently considering and will make a decision soon).

In the meantime, the state released a 44-page summary today of a larger investigative case report (1,000+ pages) that will be released in the coming weeks. It includes some new details, photos, and a transcript of the dispatcher's communications. While this might be difficult to read I personally feel it's important. Perhaps we can learn and take something away from this tragedy.

Some notable highlights:

"Lanza's first murder on Dec. 14 was in his mother's bedroom. As she lay in bed, he shot her four times in the head with a Savage Mark II .22-caliber rifle at their home in Newtown. The rifle was a bolt action, meaning that Lanza had to manually eject the spent casing and chamber a new round after each shot."

"Lanza shot himself 63 seconds after the arrival at 9:39 a.m. of the first officer, who was joined 13 second later by two others, who could hear gunshots. The last shot was fired at 9:40:03 a.m., and the first Newtown police contingent, a sergeant and two patrol officers, entered the school through a window at 9:44:47 a.m."

"Sedensky describes Lanza as increasingly withdrawn. The windows of his room were covered in black plastic, and he had communicated with his mother only by email for three months, despite living under the same roof. For two years, he had refused to answer phone calls from his father, who lived in Stamford, and his older brother."

"It also refers without comment to the discovery of digital evidence that Lanza had read materials about pedophilia and the advocacy of rights for pedophiles. On his desktop computer, police recovered a screenplay called "Lovebound" about a relationship between a 10-year-old boy and a 30-year-old man. It also had a file marked "babies" with fictional stories about being attacked by babies and defending against them. The desktop also had pictures of Lanza holding firearms to his head."

"In the 5th grade, he produced a story he called the “Big Book of Granny,” featuring a character who has a gun in her cane and shoots people, including children. Sedensky wrote there was no indication the paper was handed in at school."

"Sedensky concluded in his report that Lanza's "mental status" would have been no defense for the attack, noting the degree of planning, including bringing earplugs."

Absolutely chilling, friends. My prayers are with those families today as this report is surely stirring things up again.

And if you read the comments section of any of these articles the loons are out in full force saying it was all staged!!! Nothing makes my blood boil when I read comments like that. My aunt attended the funerals of one of the children, and the priest shown when this tragedy took place is a long-time close friend of our family.
