I was fine with the elimination, especially since it did not go Russell's way. And the more people he reveals the idol to, the better. I hope it totally backfires on him and he gets blindsided.

It was funny seeing the purple tribe. I looked at some of the women and thought, "Who are they?" They didn't even look familiar. The lopsided editing is getting to be a chore to watch. The Shambo love at Foa Foa was interesting. I'm thinking Probst may mix up the tribes soon as the challenges will just be ridiculously uneven. Remember back when Stephenie was the only person left on one tribe? That wasn't particularly compelling.

I also know Shambo and John, but only because John is cute and he ruffled some feathers back when they were building the shelter. The others are like nameless extras.

I'm bad with names to begin with, but I agree...I dont even RECOGNIZE most of these contestants! As soon as Russell showed the idol to Dr. Dreamy I thought for sure he'd realize it was a perfect opportunity to blindside him.

I despise Russell, but it annoys me that no one else has figured him out yet. He's not really an intelligent individual.

How STUPID does Dave look for not listening to Monica, when she said the first intelligent thing I've ever heard her say in this game? She argued that they shouldn't all vote for Russell, in case he found an idol. If they split their votes, they could get someone else from that tribe to go home. Dave shut her right up and very condescendingly talked down to her, arguing there was no way Russell even knew about the existence of another idol. Idiot.

Can someone please tell me how the HELL Shambo is still in this game? What a complete waste of space, especially for someone who claims to have been a Marine.

Russell is sort of like the new Richard Hatch. I can't stand him as a person, but I have to respect how well he's playing this game. I'm still looking forward to when he's (hopefully) booted off.

The old purple tribe was really onto something when Monica brought up Russell and the immunity idol, but I don't see what would have hurt them by assuming he found it again, especially on the heels of receiving a clue knowing he had plenty of time to hunt for another one AND that he'd previously found one without any clues at all. That was possibly the biggest dumbass move thus far this season in a season riddled with dumbass moves. There was no way they could split their votes and still have enough to beat a united Foa Foa. Since they don't trust Shambo, all they had to do was agree on targeting some other Foa Foa member, keep Shambo out of the loop, and wait to see if Russell plays the idol. It's not as if this didn't just happen already. It would have been a win-win for them even if Russell didn't play the idol because they still would have guaranteed another Foa Foa loss.

By the way, Dave looks more like Kevin Spacey than I do. He also looks more like a douchey tool than I do. I'll take Shambo over him any day. Once Russell is gone, I would LOVE to see Kevin Spacey voted off next.

adamgreer - Shambo is still around because NOBODY really perceives her as a threat. She could make it all the way to the end and she would have about 1% chance of winning. The best she'll do in this game is take home $100K. I think pretty much everyone at this point would love to be sitting next to her in the final. The only smart move she has made is aligning herself with Russell and making nice-nice with Foa Foa. But I don't think anyone is going to give her a million bucks for it unless she can somehow kick everyone's ass as a brilliant mastermind and superhero if Russell gets voted out. But stranger things have happened on this show.

This season is ok, but still not one of my favorites. I haven't seen anything that compares to Sugar, Cirie (x2), Stephenie (x2) or the iconic first season. But there has certainly been worse.

I was only half watching it last night because I was deathly ill and couldn't concentrate. My eyes kept shutting. I did see the tribal council though.

Russell is good at finding the idols, yes, but I am not as impressed with his gameplay. He's been found out now and idols are only good once. I'm not sure if he can slip out of next week's vote without another idol. I love how everyone follows him around next week so he cant find another one.
