Yeah, I wonder how that chicken turned out? I was thinking 2 hours seemed pretty long too.

I've actually am enjoying this season more than I thought I would. I don't like it when one person has control of the game the entire time like Todd who won "Survivor China." It was obvious from the first episode he would win it got boring and predictable. Even though Russell is in charge there are still other people who could win. Jaison could since he's not a very hated person and Natalie is like Amber from "Survivor All Satrs."
Can't believe they didn't vote of Russell last night...
Interesting twist with two elimination challenges.
I don't know about you, but I prefer to watch a recording of the show, rather than live. That way I can fast forward through all of the challenges, which have gotten so predictable and boring! I wish they'd come up with something new!
addy, the only thing I can think is that they assumed that he would use the immunity idol so they didn't want to waste the votes?
that's what I do NYadgal! so boring and the same EVERY season. let's get creative.
Can't believe they didn't vote of Russell last night...
Having to repeat that phrase week after week has made this one of the most disappointing seasons of Survivor for me.
I know there are detractors on here, but Russell putting that idol on was one of the smartest moves of the game. Keeping it hidden, no one was SURE he had it, and thus might have voted him forcing him to use it. Putting it right out there for everyone to see was DARING everyone to vote for him, saying "you vote for me, I'll play it, and who knows who's going to go home?" He ensured that no one would risk dropping the vote on him since they couldn't really be sure they wouldn't go home themselves. It was much safer to vote Monica out.
Now - if Russell, Natalie or Shambo (granted not the greatest odds) manage to win the next immunity, Russell is guaranteed set to final four. I think those who are left are going to assume Russell can't win because he more or less single-handedly got everyone on the jury out. It's very possible he CAN'T win, but I'll be surprised if he doesn't make it to the end...
I almost want to see Russell win now. He plays the game so well it is pretty incredible. I personally would like to see Shamboo gone on the next episode. She just gets on my nerves. I do agree though, this season has just been dragging on and on.
Is everybody watching??
...I don't think Russell can win. He's pissed off too many people.
It's become quite fascinating.
How the f*ck is Natalie in the finals?
I always love the questions that the 'jury' asks...
Or the speeches that they make.
Oh, Shambo, SHUT UP!
Shambo is trying to be this year's Susan Hawk.
...amazing how these questions and answers play out.
Based on that Q&A, I'm guessing that Natalie has moved to the head of the class.
We'll see...
(These things are so unpredictable!)
Exactly, I think the Jury Q&A (especially the final question) gave the win to Natalie. I can't believe Russell is crying over this. I'm pretty sure he is going to need counseling over this, or else there will be Susan Boyle consequences.
I totally think Russell played the game better and deserves the title. Natalie and Jeff should have appeased him and "gave" it to him. I think he truly doesn't care about the money -- he just wanted to win for the sake of thinking he played the game the best over anyone in any season.
Doubt Mick will get any votes. (Maybe from Jaison...)
Russell will be pissed if he doesn't win.
addy are you in a different time zone?
Well, that was unsatisfying. I hate when the person who does absolutely nothing but sit around ends up winning because she's "nice." As much as I didn't like him, Russell deserved the win, by far.
And I love Natalie's revisionist history. She and Russell never consulted with each other. They were never a team. The consultation consisted of Russell telling Natalie what to do and Natalie following.
The fact that Natalie is one of those jesus freaks makes her win all the more distressing.

Russell needs to get over himself. I'm actually glad he didn't win.
Stockard - no, am in NY.
I posted that just moments before the announcement was made.
Russell is really an ass.
Based on his comments during this post-show, I am SO glad he didn't win.
After watching the 'recap' of Natalie's game, I think she played a decent game...
He's pissing me off more and more.
He LOST.
I hope they don't give him all the post-show air time.
Me too, dottie and addy. He is the most arrogant, narcissistic person I've seen in a while.
I like that people are speaking out AGAINST his game.
Agreed, however he did deserve to win based on his gameplay.
But I am SOOO PISSED that Natalie won. Her "prayer warrior" bat-**** crazyness got on my last frickin' nerves.
Between those three, if I had it my way, Mick would have won.
