SYTYCD finale

Nothing about his look was cohesive enough to convey any sense of style (personal, unique or otherwise), which may have been his goal, but whatever it was, it seemed really poorly planned. I'd love to be all excited and gung-ho about Adam, but instead of hitting the ground running, I feel like he really needs to trot for a while first.

I would have been happy with either Jakob or Russell winning: they have always said it's America's FAVORITE dancer, not best dancer.
I agree: Jakob got the exposure he needs to have a successful career. Loved to watch him dance.
Mollie always seemed so fake to me. Too planned...nothing about her seemed spontaneous. I was actually GLAD to see her go.

LOL at the discussion of Adam's outfit.
Okay so the outfit wasn't so great (I'll admit, whatever that thing was on his shoulder, it didn't look good haha- I think I remember hearing it was black roses or something.. maybe they were, like, dried?? LOL), but the important thing was that he sounded pretty darn great! :P
Honestly, I don't think he actually IS "trying too hard". It may come across that way to some people, but I think that's just him. He's OTT. He's dramatic. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but I don't think it's an act at all, so I don't think he's trying to achieve anything really. He just does what he feels like doing, and occasionally it ends up being a little TOO out there, but it's just him having fun and experimenting :) Lady GaGa is the same way- sometimes her crazy clothes are really cool, and sometimes they're too out there to the point of being a little ridiculous. But that's just her.
But yeah, I love Whataya Want From Me and thought he sounded awesome, so yay
THAT was the part of the AMA performance that made it a true mess. Everything else about it would have been easier to get over if the vocals had been there.
aaand tbh I don't have much more to contribute to this thread because I didn't actually follow this SYTYCD season so.. yeah. haha
