Everybody needs to see this movie. Ingmar Bergman's first film in twenty years (and his last, according to the director) is a moving chamber piece that revisits Marianne and Johan, the warring couple that populated his 1973 masterpiece Scenes From a Marriage. Liv Ullmann and Erland Josephson beautiful reprise their roles. The film also stars Bohjre Ahlstedt as Johan's son Henrik, a failed musician, and a star-making turn by Julia Dufvenius as Henrik's daughter Karin, also a musician. If this film is playing anywhere near you, go see it. It's absolutely brilliant and without a doubt the best film I've seen this year (so far).
Who did the choreography?
Thanks MEF.
Looks gorgeous.
Glebb, it truly is gorgeous. It's the first time I've cried at a movie in a very long time.
M_E, Onna White rose from the dead and threw together a nice two-step for Ullmann.
