The same woman who mocks Barack Obama for using a teleprompter.The same woman who says it's bad for Democrats to use the R word but it's OK for Republicans and Rush Limabugh to do so. This woman is the biggest idiot and hypocrite there is and I pray she is the front runner for 2012!

Don't most people use index cards when speaking to be reminded of certain topics? Notice she is rubbing her knee with the same hand/palm her notes are written on.

Obama beat her once. Besides, her own party is turning on her. The American people know more about her now than they did in the fall of 2008. She only appeals to her base. Independents and moderates hate her as much as we do.

Yes, she is pure evil, reviled etc. I'm just not sure that she's hated enough by her own party. I'm just mainly warning against underestimating her or her base.

She has an inexplicable appeal to a few folks who I find otherwise sapient beings. I'm still stunned that she was even elected governor of a state in this great nation. Even though I wasn't down with the previous gov't bailouts, if Palin is anywhere on the card in 2012, Obama/Biden can count on my vote again.

Did anyone watch the speech? I was going to, but I knew it would just make me angry and horrified. I watched a few five second blurbs on YouTube. Nice to know she's still speaking in her "Ignorant Condescending Bitch" mode.

Perhaps I'm just an eternal optimist, but in my opinion, the more that is known about her, the less electable she becomes. Sure, she may have her die hard supporters on the far right, and perhaps that might be enough to get her the GOP nom, but I want to give the general election voters the benefit of the doubt regarding her. Where I do see her and her cohorts having an enormous influence is on the GOP platform. The McCain campaign was able to hide her from public scrutiny for the majority of the campaign, but that wouldn't be possible with her at the top of the ticket. She is being protected now by FoxNews, but in a general election she'd have to answer to reporters who aren't in her pocket, as well as to the public at town halls.

It's so funny that the Democrats have to focus on non-issues. The unemployment rate is still high, the country is in trillions of dollars of debt, Congress can't agree on healthcare for the country, but everyone is worried that Sarah Palin scribbles on her hand.

When someone who is considering running for president in 2012 mocks Obama for using a teleprompter, then writes on her hand to remember her sound bites, yeah, that merits discussion. The disparity between his command of the issues displayed at his recent meetings with the GOP congressional caucus and the senate Dems and her inability to hold a coherent conversation on any susbstantive issue is staggering.

As Obama mentioned, now that the GOP has 41 Senate seats, and they insist on 60 votes to get anything done, the comment "how the Democrats are ruining the country in 2010" is no longer valid.
