Jungle, that last one is one of my all time favorites. I had it as my signature for a while following the McCartney concert this past Fall.

Elphaba - Thanks, he is a handsome little dog! 'Charlie' has been my avatar since joining BWW. I've only switched to other photos once or twice - and only for a day or two. He is actually a Welsh Terrier who belongs to a old friend. I have two dogs myself - a Golden Retriever and a Cocker Spaniel. They are terrific - and are happy to let 'Charlie' have the spotlight on BroadwayWorld.

During a half hour trek through wet snow my roommate turned to me and said "At least it'll make a great story." That's helped me through a lot of bad days, just planning out how I'm going to tell my story.

I think the best advice anyone can give children, especially teenagers, (courtesy of Stephen Sondheim) is: "Stay a child while you can be a child." So many kids are too eager to grow up -- and what that might entail -- that they don't cherish their childhoods. Only in retrospect do we look back and remember fondly. (Yes, I'm talking from experience.)

I actually always say, "If you take a pile of crap, spray paint it gold, cover it with glitter and air freshner and you know what you have? A pile of crap." I think I just made it up.
