Another time I saw them and The Pretenders opened.
The show my switch flipped to off was on the Confessions tour. "You better all be jumping because I'm working my ass off up here."

I was so pissed off once she started hectoring people and realizing I had spent so much money for the stupid seat that I just wanted to leave. By the time she put on the Abba cape, it was all I could do not to flip her off.
And people talk about the disco ball entrance, people DO realize she came up from under the stage and didn't do anything as cool as being lowered from the ceiling, right?

Yeah, I dunno what's going on with reading comprehension, but this was clearly never about Kanye.

I saw Madonna three times. She flipped off the audience all three times on three different tours.
She really does hold the paying rubes in contempt.
Funniest thing ever (maybe besides strumming a guitar while sitting on a bale of hay and trying to smile at the audience with something resembling sincerity) was the American Life tour balcony rendition of "Crazy for You" which she dedicated to, " You, my fahhhhhhhhhns." Of course she's up in the air as far as humanly possible from the audience. Also, she seemed to remember to point on every "youuuuuu" about a beat and a half too late.

I forgot the occasion, but it was when he was wearing the plastic bag as a skirt. i remember it went on forever. I remember I just didn't like it. I know, millions of people do!
