So 98% of Catholic women have used birth control? 98% of Catholic women are going to HELL!
No, confession is like a giant eraser...your soul is as good as new with a few hail marys.

Can someone please please point out this mythical 'liberal media' to me? For the life of me, I can't seem to find it. This contraception 'issue' is a contrivance of the Gingrich campaign; it's nothing new, and it's never been an 'issue' unitl now. But the GOP is manufacturing controversy, and the media is following right along. I don't watch much Fox 'News', but even CNN and MSNBC are misrepresenting the information. To restate the facts: the healthcare act requires coverage for contraception, and there is an exemption for religious organizations. There is not an exemption for organizations that consider themselves affiliated to religions, like hospitals and universities. However, what the fringe is looking for is not a compromise for these affiliated organizations. They're looking for an exemption for ANYONE WHO HAS A MORAL OBJECTION TO CONTRACEPTION. So, what they're looking for would allow a factory owner whose company has nothing to do with religion to drop the contraception coverage because he personally objects to it.
The healthcare act is a good thing, and this part of it is a very good thing. It would be a shame if the White House caves on this, given that the vast majority of Americans support it, even Catholics.
