Can't tell you how jealous I am! New Zealand is my dream vacation destination. I've been saving up for around a 3 week trip with my best friend for about a year and half now and we are planning to go within the next 2 years. One of my good friends from HS spent 6 months in New Zealand wwoofing (www.wwoof.co.nz/). Totally not for me, but what a life experience.

Posted: 2/9/08 at 11:06amYou are so lucky. We have pictures of my dad at Canterbury Univ. and it is beautiful (at least it was back in the 70's when my dad was there). There's also a little Avon River near there where people kayak. He brought back a lot of stuffed koalas and sheepskin rugs (very popular back in the day). There were also pictures of tons of sheep crossing the road. I remember when I was younger, I wanted to go there because my dad loved it so much. My dad said it was so clean. Have a piece of Pavlova for dessert- it's my dad's favorite. mom
