re: So You Think You Can Dance

Ivan is extremely fortunate to have a partner who makes him look better than he is.

I thought Allison's solo was stunning last night.

Allison is amazing.

I was so mad when they said who the bottom 3 couples were. Heidi/Ryan and Allison/Ivan should not have been there. I need to start voting next week, I don't trust America.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Again, I wanted Allison and Ivan in the bottom three and Heidi and Ryan replaced there by Ashlee and Dmitry. Ashlee and Ivan could have gone home, leaving Allison and Dmitry together.

I wonder if the judges take into account who will be paired up based on who gets the boot ...

re: So You Think You Can Dance

just how of curiosity, how does one "dance 'broadway?'" Broadway isn't a style of dancing and they way th eshow works is each couple dances a specific style.
when ducks grow thumbs then maybe my opinion will change.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

earlier in the season there was a fosse-inspired dance by travis and martha
#264

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Maybe it's the style was like 1960s or something & they just happened to do a song from Broadway.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow re: So You Think You Can Dance

re: So You Think You Can Dance

yeh, I dunno.

I guess the style should be called 'Jazz,' to broadway music. I guess its the most 'Pageant' style than any of the other themes, like "contemprary" "modern" "hip hop" etc...

I dont know, I like the theme. but it is random.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Now, if the show could only learn how to capture dance, on television. The figging camera never stops moving. Someone needs to tell the director that he can keep his cameras still. The dancers are moving!

I agree JohnBoy. Gene and Fred would have a fit!

re: So You Think You Can Dance

The dancers weren't THAT great tonight. With the expection of Ivan + Allison & Benji + Donyelle.

The Hairspray number was amazing! I loved it. They're are so cute/adorable. They had a terrific amount of energy. Overall, I loved it. re: So You Think You Can Dance

re: So You Think You Can Dance

opinions?

I liked Benji/Donyelle...though it was hard to see watered down choreo to Hairspray.

bottom 3: Musa/Natalie, Dmitry/Ashlee, and Heidi/Ryan. These 3 chosen largely because they weren't in my top 3, not for being particularly bad. Too bad some of the choreo made the dances look bad...

Prediction to get kicked off: Ryan and Ashlee.

other opinions?

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Yay for Hairspray!

I agree with Ashley and Ryan getting cut tomorrow. I thought all the couples were really good especially Ivan/Ashley. I was slightly disapointed tonight when Dmitry wore a shirt.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

There hasn't been one week where Donyelle and Benji were not my favorites.
#274

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Benji is sooo adorable. Very cute/dorky. He has very pretty blue eyes. He is also an amazing dancer.
Benji & Donyelle have been my favorite since I started watching the show. re: So You Think You Can Dance

re: So You Think You Can Dance

Did anyone else watch Benji tonight and imagine how great he'd look onstage in Hairspray? He's got the look, he's got the talent, now if he can sing, that'd be perfect!
