I did.

The NYC auditions were at the Hilton, hee.

I did too. Bad dancers aren't as fun to watch as bad singers are.

hah that was disgusting..he didn't even "dance". And then they asked him how long he has been dancing and he said since I was little i've been dancing in my bedroom in front of my mirror, with friends, and at clubs. HA!

re: So You Think You Can Dance

I was hoping someone would start a thread about this show..I loved it last year and can't wait to see more already!! I just wish they had shown a little more versatility tonight--it seemed like there were way too many hip hop dancers and not enough lyrical, ballet and ballroom.

So far I loved the blond kid in Charleston with the mohawk--who would've known looking at him that he would've been able to do THAT?

I liked the guy that nicknamed himself 'Sex'...and came with his mom to the audition.
Honey, I don't produce theater. I am theater.

I loved it! But where were the technical dancers?
I miss them.

Oh and the AA guy made me cry. I love him so much!
Why oh why would they send him to Vegas!?

re: So You Think You Can Dance

I loved watching 'sex' make an ass of himself!

The "where should i put my mink" guy was too funny.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

It was at the Hilton theater.

They needed to show more of the good dancers that got through.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

I live in Charleston where they had one of the auditions. To tell you the truth I have no idea why. Beautiful city, but it's not like it's really known for the arts. Well besides Spoleto. I watched it. I liked the recovering alcoholic. To me the British guy sounds like he's just trying to be another Simon with How he says his coments. To me you can just as easily say "I don't think you are right for this competition but thank you" without being mean and rude.
You won't truly be you until you can say; I... am ....... a Catholic.

re: So You Think You Can Dance

I love this show! And fyi, "the British guy" isn't "trying to be another Simon." His name is Nigel Lythgoe, he's the creator and exec-producer, and he actually exec-produced and created American Idol (along with Simon Fuller and Simon Cowell), so it's not like he's just jumping on the bandwagon or anything like that. Plus, I honestly didn't think he was rude at all. He was nicer than I would have been to quite a few of the contestants who were obviosuly just there to waste everyone's time and get on TV.
