Yeah- I do get that Liza. It is great that she can tap and do other things as well. We do agree on that. It's just the partner dance she did wasn't big enough that night and neither was her tapping- but that's just my opinion. I do think this year, it's really hard to place people in the bottom 3 because they are all so good- well- at least as far as the girls. Some of the boys do not have the charisma like the girls- as Nigel said- you gotta bring the face and personality as well as the skills. Fik-shun is really amazing to me.

The girls, as a whole, really are in a completely different stratosphere this season. I have never seen so many incredible female dancers, who can act and emote, on this show before.

I have always loved Marco. He is a tremendous dancer. He definitely elevated Malece's dancing who up until last night had only come off as capable but nothing special.

I hate that Jade had to leave the competition because of an injury but I would have sent him home the first week of eliminations over Carlos. He just didn't have that much potential outside of his own style. He had to dance for his life after almost every round except hip-hop during Vegas week.

I was shocked to see in Jenna in the bottom three girls last night. She's my favorite girl so far.

I can't pinpoint a favorite guy yet but I really like Nico, Paul, Alan and Tucker.

...I wouldn't say that's a good thing... *hides* She certainly showed more maturity than Maxie/K Storm ever has in her role.

For the men for me, now (I just watched) it's a toss up between Aaron, who I am in love with, and Nico. I didn't think they praised Nico enough in his routine--he got praise, but I thought his role was much harder than his partner's due to how he had to play it (the fumbles and slouched gestures suddenly going tight), and he was absolutely spot on at every single moment. He really was the highlight for me, on this week's episode, and I had barely paid attention to him before.

I was upset Jade is out, as well--out of the two animators, I MUCH prefer him to BluePrint, who does nothing for me.

I am surprised that Mackenzie has often landed in the bottom three. She is an excellent dancer. I guess maybe it's because she is not as memorable as the other girls. I enjoyed Anna Kendrick on the panel this week much more than Carly Rae Jepsen, who said little to nothing last week.

I was pretty bored last night, sad to say. There were only a few numbers that really intrigued me. Getting a little bored, even, with Malece (sp) I think her "look" has a lot more to do with her success.

I was not sad to see Alexis and Curtis go. Curtis never seemed mature enough in any of the dances he's been given.

For me, Hayley moved up in the ranks last night with that Tango. That was pretty flawless and that due in large part to the fact that she was being partnered by the choreographer. A good partner can really elevate ones dancing (ie. Marco w/ Malece). It will be interesting to see how Hayley does with Nico. I have felt that they each deserved better partners since the competition began.

I love Jenna but last night was not a good night for her or Tucker. I expect to see her in the bottom 3 next week.

For me, I think Paul is the guy to beat. He has't had a bad week yet. He's proven himself to be extremely versatile in all of the genres of dance he's been given so far...and he isn't hard to look at either.

Yes, excellent point about when they dance with a stand in/professional. When this happens, the remaining dancer, also gets more supervised rehearsal...which can only work in their favor.

Dear Lord! That broadway number was spectacular!!

But the Gene number was terrible... Did anyone else wanted to punch him? "I've never seen a Gene Kelly film, I'm only 19 years old." And of all the female Hollywood dancing legends, Audrey Hepburn, really?

I thought the number was beautiful, but I didn't think it was "broadway" at all. (And methinks Nigel has never actually seen Kiss of the Spider Woman.)


I thought the choreo was excellent tonight and the right people went home.

Favorite routine of the night for me was Makenzie and Paul's contemporary number. Paul has become my absolute favorite guy dancer this season...in fact he is my favorite dancer overall. Kenny Ortega was correct in saying that Paul's love of dance is so obvious with every move he makes. He exudes pure joy when he dances. I can't wait to see what he does with an All-Star. I hope he gets to dance with Chelsie Hightower or Anya when he gets Latin Ballroom. I am really looking forward to seeing him dance his own style.

I would also like to see Jenna dance a Cha-Cha with Pasha or Dmitry.

That Nappy-Tabs number was awesome with Aaron and Jasmine but has anyone else noticed that they seem to get the pimp spot more than anyone else this season?

The "pimp spot" is the last performance of the night (in the case of this show, the last duet since there were group numbers at the end). Theoretically it is the number that everyone will remember because it was the last thing they saw.

ah, I see. (what an unfortuneate choice of words)

Yes! I did notice that! But I think it randomly decided who goes when -- maybe they've just been lucky. He certainly wasn't a favorite going in, he only got on the show because someone else dropped out. (An injury, maybe? I can't remember.)

I was kind of surprised that Malece got eliminated last night. I thought she was one of the frontrunners.

In terms of men, Aaron is my favorite.

She definitely was, I think last night was the first criticism she rec'd. Since they now talk to the choreographers, i wonder if they felt she had gotten as far as she was going to get. I did think she was the weakest of all the girls last night.

I really enjoyed last nights show, although I was heartbroked that Tucker went home. But I knew they wouldn't send home Fik-shun (sp?).

I'm just devastated about Jenna and Tucker. Both of them were my favorites from their auditions, through their partnership and all of their gorgeous solos. I really don't understand the hatred that generated online towards Jenna. She does kind of have a "bitch face," if you know what I mean, but I thought her personality really shone through. She was brilliant in Mark's genius number last night.

Fik-Shun's vacant, wide-eyed smile and "charm" has long been worn-off on me. Personality can only go so far when you have a dancer of Tucker's caliber next to him in my book. How Tucker was even in the bottom after he and Robert's sob-inducing routine last week is beyond me.

I'm far too emotionally invested in this season.

Even though Tucker and Jenna are gone and nothing else matters, Jasmine and Aaron will suffice.

I agree that I think a lot had to do with her look. I was shocked he ended up in the bottom. But lets face it, this competition has always been about 'favorite' not best. (A fact that has mentioned often).

I think for many of the dancers, the exposure they get and contacts they make must be priceless.
