I love Mia Michaels. Are they giving out another Celine show spot or are they raising the stakes..? I missed the episode. Mia knows her stuff, and she keeps those dancers in line. They know that if she's sitting at the judges table, they better damn well PERFORM.

I haven't heard yet about the prize.


- I am hoping New Line has some tie-in with SYTYCD and teh Hairspray film. May be teh dancers could be on the show. Shankman produced Step Up- and that was featured on teh show last season. so there may be hope. It would be hot to have the dancers on their doing Ladies Choice or something.

The girl from Israel was awesome. I see her going far as do I see the teacher and student who auditioned.

How great was the guy who had to come back and do swing dancing? He had some Millie steps in there.

So, in last night's episode, why was the heavyset girl who, at the end of the evening, got a ticket to Vegas "an inspiration," but the "fat" guy who was a pretty good dancer was berated by Nigel?

I have no idea but I thought the guy was really good. They were making points that he danced more like a girl, but I thought that as long as you could dance, why would it matter.

Don't even get me started at how the big guy was treated on last nights show.

He could have at least been given the chance to go to choreography round. I mean, they let the gold-mask-inferno-freak do choreography. ugh.

Mary Mursphy said it was 'horrifying.' Really!? If he was 160 with a 12 pack and danced the exact same way... would it be HORRIFYING? Sure he wasn't the best, but he was doing some incredible things.

I dont want to defend him too much, because he wasn't GREAT. However, He obviously can move and was doing more out there than some of the others they let through.

But you dont have to say he is horrifying for being fat or girly- which is what they did- there is no doubt about it.

Had he weighed 50 pounds less- he would have gone to the choreography round.

I am so glad the guy had good spirits- he was crying a little- but it didnt seem like it broke his confidence completely.

I find that they are being unnecessarily cruel and humiliating people for no reason other than entertainment. I find it painful.

I felt that there was no reason for them to be mean to Kippery, the large African-American girl from Alabama. She wasn't trying to make fun of dance or make a mockery of it. She's just someone who likes to dance who didn't understand the concept of the show. She wasn't just trying to be on TV like Ian Bernardo. She's just someone who is trying to be something more...whatever that means. I didn't see any reason for them to be mean to her.

Why do they have to show us the multitude of bad people and we only get to see a handful of good people?

Why not show us all the good people and let us see how hard the judges' job really is.

The ugliness has got to stop. The show has a secure fan base. We don't need to see that. That's not what we are tuning in for.

So.... I thought they were overly rude to that heavy kid that worked it out.

The best dancer of last nights show was that guy that was a popper!!! Its amazing to watch people who can move thier body that way!

The guy with scoliosis was inspiring. He was so good, I was actually tearing up a bit. It's amazing to see someone with such physical limitations utilize their abilities in such a creative, talented and brilliant way.

I have to say that I find it hard to believe that some of those street dancers made it successfully through the Lyrical and Ballroom combinations.

I like the show but for me it's almost unwatchable because of the loud, irritating laugh of the woman judge. The laugh, and the screaming out constantly. I can't believe she's on there.

Did anyone else think that the woman whose partner went home in the ballroom dance round and was bad mouthning her after should have gone home before him? And I didn't think she did all that great in the next round either.

Ugh, Mary. She just becomes extremely obnoxious. I like her enthusiasm, but it just becomes far too much.

Some of them did not make it thru but when they "danced for their life" in their own style they were allowed to continue.

I just saw this show for the first time last night at the suggestion of some co-workers. Loved it! I'm actually really impressed with some of the people out there! And couldn't stop laughing at some too lol!

PS I'm new here! I'm in the DC area, work in marketing, used to live in NY and went to a ton of shows but have been having a hard time getting my friends in DC to venture out to the theater scene here. Still working on them though

I wasn't a fan of Hannah, but I still think she should have continued because she could sure dance before her sprain. I didn't think it was fair, but I guess it was "dance for your life" and she didn't cut it. :/
