So how does Biden help Obama win? — Page 7

"jrb--bro, in times of war the first thing you gotta get a grip on is your penis. obama was starting to appear a bit flaccid so he needed reinforcement."
Once again, I find you revolting.
But your other point, if true, is powerful.
I fully entertain that the convention and debates could change my feelings and make me wanna get fully energized about this race.
But, Obama has slowly and steadily moved me to "give a ****" land.

If you're so unhappy with Obama's choice, or with Obama himself, then vote McCain in November... and condemn thousands more Americans and Iraqis to death
When did Obama say he was withdrawing the troops, if elected? Or have you not gotten that text yet?

"It is people like you luscious that are going to lose this election for Obama."
On the contrary, Taz, its people like you that already have it lost.
And you and YWIW are welcome to continue living in your pathetic state of denial. You're an Israeli Jew and you are NEVER going to support Obama. Plain and simple. Your agenda to discredit him at every given opportunity since he announced he was running is very clear to me. It's just too bad that I'm the only one around here with the balls to call you out on it.

I am a what?
So, if someone does not back your candidate lock step, they are a racist. You are a silly little fool.
If you must know, I am an American who happens to be Jewish. I have never even been to Israel.
You, on the other hand, are a racist idiot.
You are confusing me with someone else. But, again, since your limited world view is so narrow, all Jews probably "look" alike to you.

You know nothing about me. You are a presumptious anti-semite who to assuages your own racist guilt by accusing others of being racist.

"You're an Israeli Jew and you are NEVER going to support Obama."
That statement is simply loaded with your self-important know it all bull****. It's those kinds of statements from Obama supporters that make me want to not vote for him.
If Obama loses this election, it will be everyone else's fault, right? You'll blame it on Clinton for not campaigning for him hard enough, you'll blame it on the racists, you'll blame it on the Jews, you'll blame it on the media, but it certainly won't be the fault of the people who have alienated voters who might have otherwise voted for him, had they not been so overbearing in their sanctimonious pronouncements, right? No,,,an ardent Obama supporter could never be at fault...never...drive someone away from voting for their candidate...that would just be impossible, right?
Blech...I'm so sick of Obama and his supporters and it's only the end of August.
I would never sit out an election, and I would never vote for McCain, but I've got to tell you...you're doing your candidate no favors by being such a holier than thou...my word is truth...know it all. A little more humility and a little less over-wrought rhetoric would go a long way.

Wow. I think it's obvious that Luscious will never live up to his sig auote. There is absolutely NOTHING dignified about his remarks.

No, naive is for democrats like you who think this guy will give a speech and everything will fall into place. His whole reason for running was to change "insider" politics and government and the way things are done in Washington. If that wasn't the most naive notion to begin with, now he choses a long term senator who is about as Washington as you can get. When it comes down to a needed vote in Congress, the only way you will get your bill passed is by using "insider" deals, promises, concessions with lobbyists and special interests To think anything else is very naive. Therefore he is now doing an about face on the most important theme of his campaign. That is unsettling to me and he's not even president yet.

Lucious said: "It's just too bad that I'm the only one around here with the balls to call you out on it."
For the record, Lucious does not speak for other Obama supporters here. And it has nothing to do with our balls. It has to do with the fact that I've not seen a shred of anything that would make me think such a thing of Taz or YWIW, both of whom I respect greatly.

Just call me Hadassah from now on.
Luscious must have gotten me confused with Joe Lieberman's wife...
And, now Luscious has demonstrated that it is a sock puppet, with nothing better to do than stir up trouble. Hell, I get treated better by papa, who I disagree with on many issues, but respect.
So, Luscious = SpellingBeeFan4Ever in my book.

Please. Last night the puppets on CNN couldn't keep a straight face when talking about Biden. It was as if they opened their Xmas gifts the night before and they were trying to pretend to be surprised in the morning.
Disgusting.
Disgusting.

I just miss the good old days at this board, Pal Joey posts about how much prettier Hillary is in person, or how terrific it was to see Chelsea touring gay clubs on her mom's behalf. It's devolved into this hate speak and threats about wasted votes for anybody but Obama. After eight dark years, is this where we really are? Devoid of critical bigger picture outlooks? Who is isn't cynical about politics? But does that leave us with nothing but bile-infused musings?

OBAMA/BIDEN '08! Live with it or vote for Grandpa Munster

"I think it is the politically savvy choice. Unlike many of the folks on here, I generally like Biden. I would have preferred Clinton or Clark, but Biden reassures me that Obama realizes the challenges he is facing, and will surround himself with people with experience, and varying backgrounds in order to make a decision."
YWIW echoes my position. Once we got over the "disappointment" of "our choices" not being embraced by the Democratic Party, we started talking about all of the reasons we have respected Joe Biden over the years. And one of great significance for me has been his support for and active participation in protecting women and children against violence. Somehow, I had forgotten about that.
Last week, I was thinking about "geographic strategy" and how a Southerner would be the best choice. Now I recognize the sound strategy behind selecting an "old, white guy." (Please see my Barbie/Paris Hilton post above.)
Biden provides good contrast to Obama. He said Obama wasn't "ready" for the presidency, but HE was, right? Well, now that comment can be spun into one that proves his point: Obama may not have much experience, but people like Joe Biden do...and they will not be forgotten or ignored. In fact, they will play integral roles in the administration.
Let's be realistic. Here on the board we are, for the most part, extremely liberal, left-wing bleeding hearts. (I include myself in that description; no offense intended.) We forget that radical and rapid change scares the living daylights out of most people. A "safe" choice is not a bad one in this instance. It creates BALANCE.

Besty, if it was a girl, I might be tempted.
Perhaps I should call him David, after both King David and David Ben-Gurion.
Zander (or Xander) is not the best name for an Israeli, Jewish Cat.
And papa, happy to help.

For what it’s worth, I wasn’t referring to you, moron.
But Taz is an Israeli Jew; and a racist one at that. He’s also responsible for spreading a computer virus that redirects you to terrorist websites. I know more about Taz than he wishes I did or would like to have everyone think. And no matter how many of your online friends may rush to your defense, my opinion of you will never change. You don’t fool me. You disgust me. Taz, you give all Jews a bad name. I’ve had a few of my Jewish friends read some of your posts and they agree that your rhetoric is positively hateful and incendiary. No matter what Obama says or does, you will NEVER support or vote for him. Peroid. End of story. Because you sir, are a racist. The only thing you would vote for a person of color to do is clean your house at below minimum wage.

Stick and stones Luscious.
So now I get it, I am just living in a pathetic state of denial. So the "You're" an Israeli Jew - is another "You" (which I am often called).
I feel much better now, just being in a pathetic state of denial and a moron - at least according to you! (or is that me?).
