"Exactly Luscious, all the hillary obsessors have just been waiting for an excuse to pitch a fit and claim they're gonna vote third party or mccain
nothing but bitter, sore losers."
Well... fortunately Chance not all of Hilary's supporters are reacting like many of the whinny, bitter drama queens around here. Overall, the reaction to Obama's choice has been very well received.

Yeah, really.
By whom?
And what are we? Chopped liver? I'm a registered voter and live in the US, does my whiny bitchy opinion not count because it's not one for Obama?

"By whom?"
I'm not wathcing Fox News. The news channels and websites that I frequent are sighting all of the positive aspects of an Obama/Biden ticket. I don't know which ones you're watching or reading.

I've also seen that clip of Biden riding around in his SUV on Tuesday or Wednesday, saying to the news camera, "I'm not the guy."
Would that qualify as his first public lie in this campaign?
It was a lie. He KNEW he was the VP choice by then.

Darling, I'll say this once: barackobama.com is NOT an official news source.

I WAS watching ABC. They didn't care for his choice, when they were interviewing Obama's senior campaign manager. They got nothing when asking him about the "downside" to this choice.
They didn't bash his choice. They just pegged it as being highly ordinary.

And how exactly do you know that? I believe Obama was saying as late as Wednesday that the person he chose did not know yet.

Then Biden was making an assumption and, in turn, mislead the public.
Let's get used to this pattern. We'll see much more of it in the upcoming months.

Well, he didn't say "I don't know anything yet," did he?
He said, "I'm not the guy."
Big difference.

Besty, have you started making plans for a McCain presidency?
I'm going to stock up on toilet paper now.

Yes, as of this morning, I have.
And I'm not happy about it one bit. But I see the reality of it, no question.

What I don't get are the people who think (thought) their world would be different with Obama as their president. What do you all think will be different about it?

Biden has a great reputation among Democrats. He has been a fighter for decades. His foreign policy experience and yes his age might attract older voters. Conservatives hate him, but they also hate HC and Obama. I support the choice!

No, I don't want Old Man McCain coming out to shoot me for "tresspassin'"!
I'll need the tp because I'll be sh*tting myself when McCain starts shredding the Constitution and putting us in "strife" camps.

"Sen. Obama has continued in the best traditions for the vice presidency by selecting an exceptionally strong, experienced leader and devoted public servant. Sen. Biden will be a purposeful and dynamic vice president who will help Sen. Obama both win the presidency and govern this great country." - Sen. Hilary Clinton

You've got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
And latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mister In-Between
You've got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
Have faith or pandemonium's
Liable to walk upon the scene

I love that song.
It should be the 2012 campaign song when Hill hits the streets.

The only thing Hil is going to be hitting by 2012 is the bottle. Or Bill. Or both.

Chuck Todd, Political Director of MSNBC:
"On the Democratic side, it was a collective "phew." As the days got nearer for the pick, it was hard to find a Democrat -- even savvy Clintonites -- who weren't hoping it would be Biden. Only the most strident Hillary supporters appear to be upset this morning."
