so sorry to hear this, we're thinking of you and your family, and especially here, and praying and hoping she gets better very soon.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Thank you all SO MUCH for your kind messages and your prayers. I spoke to Sam's grandpa a few minutes ago. He's at the hospital, covering for her mom and dad so they can get a few minutes sleep. He said that Sam was resting and her fever has gone down a little. They're more convinced than ever that what she has is a viral infection because the antibiotics they're giving her aren't having any effect. They just haven't identified the virus. There really isn't much they can do about viruses except fight the symptoms and wait for the body's own immune system to fight them off. Sam's problem there is that she's so little that she's having trouble with the fight. The body creates white blood cells to fight off infections and that increased white blood cell count can be seen in the blood. Sam's isn't showing any increase and that's causing a lot of concern.

SO - if you believe in prayer, please keep them coming. If you don't, do it anyway because you might be wrong and it certainly wouldn't hurt. (We all believe strongly in the power of prayer.)

So sad to hear about all this trauma. However, never underestimate the toughness of the baby! Sending my prayers.

Sam has been on my mind all day. I was hoping for an update.

People overcome threats like this all the time, even babies. The important thing is that she has the will to live and so much to live for. With all the love she has in her life, she has good reason to want to be here.

Continuing to keep her, you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
