My grandfather was an extra in the film GETTYSBURG. He still has the T-shirt and he talks about it all the time.

My cousin is friends with Jesse L. Martin, and one of their mutual friends tried to se thte two up on a date once. They didn't work out together. She's now married with a child.

And my claim to fame...last year's ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH girlcott. As I've said before, I was one of the 24 girls in the Allegheny county Girls as Grantmakers who girlcotted Abercrombie and Fitch last November because of their T-shirt slogans that were demeaning to women.. I was on several TV shows as well as radio shows and I was quoted in newspapers all around the country. our representatives were on The Today Show, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, and a ton of other shows. We were front-age news in our city several times and we've gotten offers since the girlcott from places like American Eagle and Elle Magazine to make a line of T-shirts with a more positive message. It's still a huge deal!

Good! It was in our local free paper, RedEye, in Chicago and I was infuriated about the shirts! I couldn't believe what was being printed on them. You absolutely rock, sweetie. Keep us all updated when more stuff is going down.

I went to high school with a girl who would become the first woman to enter and graduate from Ringling Bros, Barnum and Bailey Clown School, and became the first female clown

I went to high school with a girl who made it onto American Idol and then forgot the lyrics to her songs once she got to Hollywood.

I was friends with one of the top 8 girls in the Teen magazine model contest in 1999. She signed my magazine.

My favorite teacher in high school dated Garth Brooks when she was in college. She used to correct the grammar in the love songs that he wrote for her with a red pen. He dumped her so that he could date his now-ex wife.

The art history teacher at my high school narowly escaped being picked up by Ted Bundy. He did the whole thing with the cast and the crutches. She managed to run into a house before he caught her.

A boy I know "leon Thomas" who went to school with my brother has been in "Caroline or change" "the lion king" and was young harpo in the obc of "The Color purple"

I was featured in segments on fuse alot when I used to go to "Daily Downlaod" back when it was IMX and I danced on stage this summer at bryant park during the "Push Da Button" set for "The Color Purple"

Once upon a time I used to play with toys, but now I'd rather play around with teenage boys

My great uncles, Dan and Sy Barry, are famous cartoonists. They were pretty revolutionary, in that they were at the helm of a New York slick genre of comic book art that was popular back in the '40s.

My Uncle Dan was the artist for Flash Gordon, and Uncle Sy for The Phantom. I don't remember my Uncle Dan (he became a recluse when I was a baby, and died around ten years ago) but I am very close with my Uncle Sy. He is a loving and amazing person. And he's an even better painter than he is an illustrator. He helped me choose my portfolio pieces when I was applying to F.I.T.
