I think I'd rather do a tie than this minus four, plus one business.

I hate things not being settled, this way we have an answer. The other way I feel the whole thing was an even bigger waste of time than it was already.
That is the way we have ended most of these games.
It simply means whoever gets rid of the other wins.
(I am voting against both though)

Also, why would you sign your post? Your name is right there to the right.

I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

I have a better idea.

Let's do a -83, +83 finish.

Sunday in the Park with George 0 (-83)
Sweeney Todd 158 (+83)

YAY! Game over! re: Sondheim musicals GAME

I actually don't mind that. re: Sondheim musicals GAME
Somehow my mind can justify that insanity more than a tie.

After my failed topic KILLED the serious discussion thread so badly that iflit refused to even post in it anymore, I will be doing no such thing.

Well as far as I am concerned, the blood of this thread is on your hands too since you keep voting back and forth between the last two.

Seriously, if Meryl Streep can do it so can you! PICK ONE!

ok, I'm done with this....I have better things to do......especially if people are alternatively voting for both......that makes NO sense. Patronus, it's all yours ;o)

It's a hard decision for sp78 because he has a lot of passion for all the Sondheim musicals.

Fortunately, I am just really starting to learn Sondheim and haven't gotten to Sunday in the Park with George yet or I'd be having the same internal conflict. re: Sondheim musicals GAME

and, I've never seen Sweeney (although I own the video) or really listened to it.......but perhaps in my vicodin haze today I will.....

Do you have the Lansbury/Hearn tour vid or the Lupone/Hearn Concert vid?

I enjoy both, but the tour vid is really quite good.

It was that dilemma why I stopped voting a while back. One just can't chose between children.

I was only going to vote against both to ensure that one of them disappeared.

I had consistently voted for Sunday in the Park with George before that.

Elphaba's got an ear infection and is high on Vicodin. I wouldn't put too much weight in his irritation today. He's entitled. re: Sondheim musicals GAME

Not always, just on occasion.
I open one and then get another about 5 minutes later.

I actually figured it was a board issue.

(And probably should have been discussed in PMs anyway, but we are trying to keep the "game" alive, are we not? re: Sondheim musicals GAME)

I, personally, could live with us declaring Sunday in the Park with George and Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street as the two greatest Sondheim musicals.
