"Don't hit your mama with a big old stick." That'n always makes me cry!
Love Changes Everything makes me cry ever since I first heard it onstage during ASPECTS OF LOVE. Nothing sadder than crap shows being produced.
Rath, I think I officially worship you. *bows to the greatness*

WOW! I got quoted by Rath! I am not worthy, madame!
Settle down, boys.
Although the show is not that great . . . you can't deny the power of "Love Changes Everything"
Oh, but I can.

"Butterfly Kisses" makes me cry acid and semi-digested food out of my esophagus.
I agree, Calvin. Any of those revoltingly sentimental tripey pieces.

A lump in the throat counts, right? I'm assuming it doesn't have to be full-fledged snotfest.
Well, you haven't heard me sing Adia.

That hurt.
The first few chords of Nobody Needs to Know (Last 5 years) and Why (tick...tick...BOOM!) petty much insure automatic tears for me.

"Happy Birthday". Every year it makes me cry...
This one is more Broadway-related, but I thought I'd post it:

My favorite go-to song whenever I need a good cry is Tom Waits’ “Take It With Me” (Megan Mullally’s cover is good enough to start the tears flowing, though).
For a really good wallow, Steve Earle’s “Goodbye” does the trick (better yet, Emmylou Harris’ devastating version from the Wrecking Ball album).
I think "Love Changes Everything" is a horridly obnoxious song.
My top sad songs:
"And So It Goes", Billy Joel
"What A Wonderful World", Louis Armstrong
"Angels", Sarah MacLaughlan
I agree Munk about "Love Changes Everything"...pure crap. I would have gotten a D-minus from my professors.
"One More Walk Around the Garden" does it for me everytime...
LCE only moves me when Audra does it. I think she's able to invest it with a lot of emotion and feeling.
