I just can not even express how much this makes me smile.

And I love the way Colbert opens with the famous quote from Network, which is all about manipulative television news reporting (and one of top 5 favorite films).

Brilliant!

Colbert's introduction to his march was brilliant. Stuck his head through a mini green screen, stuck on a tacky beard, and was superimposed onto the Lincoln Memorial.

My life will probably prohibit me from going, but I'd LOVE to.

Love the "Don't Click Here" buttons.

I love the "Keep the Fear Alive" theme! Too bad I'll be out of town that weekend.

Joe, Fox won't even mention it, like they didn't mention the marriage equality rally (which brought out just as many people as the tea party crap).

I'm guessing there will be a lot fewer motorized scooters at these rallies. And a lot more PBR.

I think I read that O'Reilly and Stewart are trading guest sppearances on each other's shows...I'd imagine this topic will come up.

This is gonna be awesome! Will they bus us in like they do the Tea Party/Klan Rally's?

If I go, I don't know if I want to 'attend' as a Stewart person or part of Colbert Nation. I'm much more of a Colbert fan, but I kind of want to carry a sign that says: "I disagree with you, but you're not Hitler". On the other hand, it might fun to be part of Colbert Nation, so I could carry a "We Don't Need No Department of Edjookashun" sign.

On Stewart's show last night, Arianna Huffington pledged that HuffPo would provide busses from NY to DC for anyone who wanted to attend. Details will follow, see link.

Ends up, I am going, by way of Ohio, and I have a Stewart shirt and a Colbert hat.

I know we have a hotel room in Alexandria, and will be taking public transportation to the rally with a couple of old friends.

That is as much as I know!

We're going too -- we have a room booked and are taking the Metro in. I'm letting Caitie take care of the details since she's lived in DC.

Very excited - it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day!
