your ipod, TV, cellphone, refrigerator and TV would be useless within days since there is no electricity on the island

blucat, if you are "stranded" you have no electricity.
You never said the island was Grand Cayman, Molokai, or Tasmania.
In that case my 5 items would be different ;o)

I'm stuck between half way wanting to hear the story (I think it must be less horendous then my imagination
)...And wanting to hide on my island

This'll make for an interesting day... I'll just giggle when I think of the possibilities and people will think I'm crazy.
Ok. I'm crazy. But that's beside the point.

gav, darlin', if there's electricity....you are not stranded......
blucat......let's just say he fertilized the gopher hole.....and considering he was born and bred in Manhattan, I was rather impressed with his idea, even though I found the "mode of delivery" a bit weird, LOLOL
and the gopher must have not liked the new addition to his little holes under the ground, as he left!

lol...I guess hes a farm boy at heart...or at least at digestive system.
And for the record I belive it is quite easy to be stranded on an island with electricity...In so much that a boat is the vital element for unstranding onself in such a situation...

except that where there is electricity, there is a power plant. And where there is a power plant, there are people....people who live and eat....and to live they need homes......hence......not stranded
and besides all that......if you have a cellphone, laptop, etc....you also aren't stranded
Here's that definition of stranded:
To be driven or run ashore or aground.
To be brought into or left in a difficult or helpless position.
so I say, one cannot be helpless with a laptop or cellphone, even if electricity isn't there
It would be like saying that "going camping" is staying at the Hilton.
but...as this is all fantasy, "strand" away with electricity, music, BBW, and all ;o)
