Did Cheno do that IRL? How julky!
yeah, she was on the cover of FHM or something.
yep, i found it. FHM
I am looking forward to the photo shoot next week.
Hell, he could write the episode from all the comments that I made abouot Cheno's cover. I think she is very cute and she has a rockin' curvy little body, but she can't do something like that without expecting it to hurt her witness. I don't think of her as less of a christian that she was before, but there are a lot of people who probably had that reaction. I can't wait to see how it ends up on the show.
it's not about being less christian, its about being a hypocrite.
i just wanna see sarah nekkid. or in her skimpies. lucky cherry...
Oh Papa, me too.
Actually, Liverpool, I don't know that it is really that hypocritical. I believe that you can be a christian and pose completely nude. The problem is that she should have been fully prepared for the backlash that she would get from some sectors of her fans. While I believe that it's fine, Southern Baptists for example, did not. They are a LARGE part of her non-Broadway fan base.

Bump for this:
Last night on MAD TV: "Aaron Sorkin's STUDIO 69 ON VAN NUYS BOULEVARD" - about the porn industry.
Paunchy porn actor: "How do you expect me to get it up on cue when MY BROTHER IS STANDING IN A FIELD IN AFGHANISTAN?"
Lots of talking-while-walking-through-corridors, lots of speechifying about America and freedom. Pretty damned funny.
My roommate and I (we watch the show together) were discussing why Studio 60 isn't doing well, and I think he came up with a decent theory:
The biggest problem with 60 is that they keep advertising it as though it's a comedy... which, to me, it's not. It's a drama that's funny... like Gilmore Girls. When people tune in expecting to see a comedy and don't, they stop watching.
Thoughts?
FF, you could be right. It's a dramady. There really haven't been many very heavy dramatic moments. More would probably help. I guess people aren't used to hour long comedies. It doesn't fit into a mold.
So, what is Aaron going to write when he runs out of Cheno material? And I wonder how she feels about the not even slightly veiled representation?
I have developed a bit of an "eh" attitude about the show now. I won't miss it, but I do other things while it is on. Next week looks good, though.
I'm almost done with this...I feel very much like these are all bad episodes of West Wing...it's even more contrived and not as witty.
JG... I'm the same way. It's on, I sort'a pay attention to it, but I do other stuff in the meantime.
i loved the last two episodes - warts and all.
I am so glad that other people like this show! I was starting to think I was the only one watching every week! I think Harriet is my favorite character. I'm so glad NBC ordered more episodes!
WHY would they be giving flu shots DURING the taping?
it's not a flu shot. it's b12. it should give them energy.
Yeah, I just got that.
*POSSIBLE SPOILERS FROM TONIGHT*
I thought tonight's episode was good, and I'm excited to see what'll happen with Jordan's storyline. I really like the idea of her and Danny together.
I knew from the preview this week that she was going to be pregnant.
Where are the homos on this show! Give me at least a good closeted character.

Loved the episode tonight! Thought it was one of the best.
For real! I want Harriet to start making out with Jordan!
Alright, so Harriet and Jordan didn't kiss...
But I did enjoy Matt pinning Harriet against a wall, kissing her unexpectedly, giving her a note, and walking away.
I was tickled by that.

Me too! If harriet and Jordan aren't going to make out, I'll take that as a goo second choice.

Loved it!
"Why am I the only person who cares about Christmas in here and I'm a Jew. Come to think of it, how am I the only Jew in a comedy writer's room" (or something like that)
Loved the Christmas theme. And the coconuts. And Danny and Jordan at the end. But I'm a hopeless romantic like that.
