OH I know Jerby, but really- each show creates it's own reality and then has to stay consistant with that reality. This show (Like West Wing) works very hard to be "Realistic" and then flushes that desire down the toilet when they need to for a plot point (Such as a press secretary becoming Chief of Staff).
Last night they played fast & loose with the legal system, network television, the space/time continuum (thanks Papa) and basic human behaviour. Frankly, I think the next epsiode might involve the appearance of a martian who has magical powers.

That would be perfect Joe - you think they will finally return Fallon from Dynasty when they do appear?
I understand that the reality created needs to be consistent. I don't think the show is all that realistic--since the pilot. Therefore, I wasn't bothered by these things.

Maybe Kristen Chenoweth will wake up to find Aaron Sorkin in her shower!
I certainly wouldn't mind finding Aaron Sorkin in my shower. And for some reason I still love this show. Can't help it. I'll be a very sad girl when/if it gets cancelled. I even enjoyed last night's episode and laughed out loud several times even if parts of it were a bit farfetched.
more like a heightened un-reality. actually, the backstage stuff is much more entertaining and compelling than first amendment rants and telling the audience how stupid they are.
where is the belushi/farley character waiting to flame-out at any minute? the jan hooks/nora dunn to hate on and sabotage that christian bitch, harriet? the bulimia? the orgies? the passive aggressive practical jokes? and -- the comics take much more of a part in the creation of the show.
there are a few good zingers here and there but i mostly just hate this show.
possibly a bit of good news for me? i knew aaron sorkin and nbc really loved me.
reports of cancellation may be premature
double post....but seriously, that's lame. I'm loving this show more every week. Updated On: 11/9/06 at 12:18 AM
Sweet! Looks like positive news.
It was announced this morning! Full season, baby!
JG2, your post just made me punch the air and go "YES!" in the middle of my psychology class. Good thing my teacher didn't notice.
THANK GOD!
Stop reading email in class!
I'm actually already finished with the work, anyway. No worries.
Is it true? Is it really, really true?

Last I heard this morning on the radio, they're ordering I believe nine more episodes of Studio 60 . But than again, shows are known to be pulled off without warning.

Last night's episode was terrific - especially Steven Webber and John Goodman.
Next week's plotline is based on "Chenoweth poses for a trashy men's magazine".
Did Cheno do that IRL? How julky!
yeah, she was on the cover of FHM or something.
yep, i found it. FHM
