OK so here's the deal.
I might be taking this little guy home at the end of the month:
and he needs a name. Being the theatre lover that I am, I'm hoping for a theatre-related names. I'm open to any and all suggestions, simply because I only have one idea for now. I'm only going to name him after a character from a show, no actual actor names.
So...if anyone thinks of anything to name this little guy, please post a reply in this thread and I'll put it on my list. Thanks everyone!

I called my new puppy Morgan Freeman.
That's theatre-related, no?
He's too sweet looking to be a Sweeney!
I like Toby.

Is he a schnoodle? We have a four year-old schnoodle named Dunkin. Here are my thoughts on theater names: Ruprecht (DRS), Fabrizio (LitP), Lancelot (Camelot), and Riff (WSS).

He's a cocker spaniel, actually. Born on the 4th of July.
My mom thinks I should name him Oliver, yet my dad likes Gaston.
I thought he looked like a little Freddy or Freddie. (Scoundrels or My Fair Lady)
Some Gypsy-inspired suggestions:
Chowzy
Gigolo
Tulsa
Uncle Jocko
If he was born on the 4th, I'd name him Thomas Jefferson.
How 'bout...
Herbie - Gypsy
Buddy - Side Show
Otto - Spring Awakening
Nicky - Avenue Q
Bert - Mary Poppins
Benny - In the Heights
Sonny - In the Heights

I like your mom's idea--he looks like an Oliver.
