I swear I foretold all this when it started.

Susan Boyle's Getting Nutty Again

Singer Susan Boyle has sparked more fears for her health after ranting at her niece in public.

The 49-year-old star was at the baggage carousel area at London's Heathrow airport when she started to shout at her niece Joanne Crawford, who is also her personal assistant.

The pair were spotted at Terminal Three and were waiting for a private jet to arrive to take Boyle back to her home town in Scotland.

Boyle was reportedly told the flight had been delayed by two hours and started shouting that she wanted to 'f****** get home' before calling Crawford a 'b***h', according to UK newspaper Daily Mail.

The pair reportedly shared 'angry words', but it is claimed her comments came about as she was 'tired and emotional' after flying in from a performance in Tokyo.

A spokesman for the star admitted there had been a 'minor' incident between the two women but said: 'Susan is now absolutely fine.'

This woman has had obvious issues from the beginning - which hasn't stopped those around her from cashing in no matter what.

It's disgusting and sad.

Oh my god. Who let her out of the house like that?

You are all aware this woman is mentally challenged as a result of being oxygen-deprived at birth, yes? Also that she's led a virtually cloistered life before being thrust into the spotlight? She was completely unaware of and unprepared for what she was getting into. It is very unfortunate no one is looking out for her.

Yes, some of us 'all' are aware of that, hence my post.

Fair enough, Q. I guess I took exception to the "getting nutty again" part of the subject line, which implies a lack of understanding of her fragile condition.

She's probably upset that they are calling the "I Will Always Love You" kid, "the next Susan Boyle."

no one? not according to Piers Morgan. (he of course may be a liar)

they are producers, tv people, etc. they needed to hire some sort of pysychologist. they have them for athletes and i think they need them for anyone who becomes an instant star, regardless if they are mentally challenged or not. i do not find her extremely so challenged anyway. anyone in her position being thrust into stardom overnight is faced with a challenge.

i would be surprised after her cd debut selling so well that there isn't someonefrom the industry trying to keep her in check. it just may not be working.

All those people are in it for the money and sensationalism. That's not the same as a loving and concerned family member and/or friend.

oh I agree Jane. I just meant on camera interviews you saw smarmy Piers talking in such a mentoring, helping way like he would be doing it personally...pfft - and that Susan needed some help. it would behoove them to have someone for susan if they still want the bank roll. but if they are done with her, so be it.

i think susan was smart enough to know full well how she would be percieved. she was smart enough to audition and had seen the show before.

Just want to add that the smartest people, including geniuses, can be mentally challenged. Having mental issues doesn't mean you're stupid. Not by a longshot.

No, I totally know she's a mess. I knew it the first time that "I Dreamed a Dream" was foisted upon the masses. I went on record then as saying that I saw nothing but disaster at the end of this journey. Perhaps "nutty" was a bad term to use, but she is kinda acting nutty. And when I use clinical terms for people on here I get the smackdown, too, so I generally can't win. Nor do I care. But it's not her detractors that put her in this situation.

But she sure is nutty!

If calling a relative a bitch qualifies as nutty, I'm clearly a fruitcake!

Phyll, I wasn't directing any of my posts towards you. Nutty's a kind word to use here, lol! I was replying to Piper each time.

Oh, I know. I was more responding to ghostlight. I do feel bad for the woman, but like I said, I've been saying all along that this was just a recipe for disaster.

In this instance, she sounds like an exhausted and frustrated traveler. That description sounds like any member of my family when we've had a bad flight experience. Which is 90% of the time these days. My recent trip to Spain, my flight was delayed 2.5 hours and I missed my connecting flight. Since it was two different airlines and a promotional fare, neither airline would make any concessions, so my choices were to either pay a 600% markup on a last-minute plane ticket or pay a 150% markup on a last-minute car rental and drive 6 hours after my overnight flight. I chose the car and had my first experience driving across Spain by myself in a stick shift (I haven't driven a stick in 13 years). The first thing I did was hit a Carrefours and buy some CDs and Red Bull to keep me awake. And this was nothing compared to some of my other European flights. If Susan wants to pitch a fit at the airport, I could give her lessons.

oh my goodness! absolutely. Bonnie Hunt had a fellow on who was incredible to listen to. He was speaking of a woman who ended up being a top lyricist (i think) and in music with ALW but decades ago, they told her parents she was very ill and needed medication and to be "put away" - turned out she was a musical genius. his other great point. "every child is different, so why do we give them ALL the same standardized test to measure their intelligence?"
