Father’s Day is this Sunday. Have you bought your Old Spice yet? With this in mind, we wanted to take a stroll through a short list of the hottest TV dads. We’re sure we left some good ones out—let us introduce you to the feedback section, friends. But sadly, making this list, we realized something bittersweet: TV dads are kind of lame.
5. Mike Brady (Robert Reed), The Brady Bunch
Mike Brady suffers the fate of most TV dads: handsome but painfully vanilla. Still, if you look at him right, he has total f**k-me eyes.
4. Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), The Sopranos
Gross, yes, but sexy in that I’ll-take-you-in-the-back-alley kind of way. Plus he’s always up for it. We sure as sh*t wouldn’t let our daughter babysit for the Sopranos.
3. Sandy Cohen (Peter Gallagher), The O.C.
His eyebrows practically had a co-starring role, but Sandy scores high for two reasons: He rocks a girl’s name, and he’s a civil rights attorney.
2. Sherriff Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith), The Andy Griffith Show
He’s a gentle man of morals, kind to Don Knotts, and from his loins sprang Richie Cunningham. Plus, he can totally get you out of that DUI.
1. Dan Conner (John Goodman), Roseanne
Humor always trumps hotness when it comes to the men we love. And no dad was funnier, or cooler, than Dan Conner. As little girls, we wanted to grow up and marry someone like Dan. Still do. F**k your waistline. Can you make us laugh? —SH

She obviously didn't go back as far as Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz).
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

He was cute, Kringas! I loved Angela's dad.
Gary Sheperd, thirtysomething, and Nate Fisher, Six Feet Under = hot earthy crunchy dads.
Dr, Mark Green - ER. He had an easier time with his daughter when she was little, but he was always compassionate and dedicated.

I was 13 years old with a distant, self-involved father and I wished that I had a father like Eddie had:
My father never played with me like Eddie's did.
I wanted piggyback rides with Eddie's father but not my own--and when my father didn't shave, it was gross...not like Eddie's father.
With his dad's best friend, "mod photographer" Norman, it was like Eddie had TWO hot dads:

Bill was a hot Daddy.
My favorite of course was Brian Kelly from FLIPPER.

Dawson's dad in Dawson's Creek was kinda hot,
but some of those dads mentioned are really far from hot...

I used to like Tony Danza on Who's the Boss. If I remember correctly, there was a shower/towel shot of him in the opening credits for a while.
