Loved the Bette Davis festival...what an actress. I was also in my glory with Joan Crawford on March 23rd. Just out of curiousity, who feels that Bette was a better actress than Joan? Or vice-versa? I love them equally....

Just watched Little Women with Katharine Hepburn. Loved it, but the sound quality was horrible. Then again, it was made in the early 1930's, so I will let it slide.

"Robert Osborne is my favorite interviewer of celebrities today."
Did you see the one he did with Rod Steiger? It was quite in-depth.
I think episode of Private Screenings with Ann Miller is airing later this month. That was another very revealing interview.

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

A couple of nights ago, they aired the little-seen THE LONG RIDERS....oh my God! I hate westerns, but that is by far my favorite. Pamela Reed as Belle Star? Perfection! Plus the Keach's, the Quaids's, and the Carradines. A great movie!
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

Did anyone watch "The File on Thelma Jordan" today with Barbara Stanwyck? Never saw it before, and it was really great...predictable, but great!!!

Hi,
I agree with you. Sometimes I enjoy the movies more watching them as there being shown.
