Oh that's too bad. It was gorgeous!
I've never seen this next one - Bonjour Tristesse - but it has Deborah Kerr and more of the French Riviera so how bad can it be?

I'm afraid so.
After this one they're (more or less) sticking with the Riviera theme with "Follow the Boys" with Connie Frances and Paula Prentiss. I barely remember this one. I know it was a follow up to "Where the Boys Are" but it wasn't nearly as campy or good.
I LOVE the Riviera theme!

I woke up early today because I have a TON of work to do to get ready for guests. What happens? I turn on the tube to get the news and it's still set on TCM from last night. And the film on now is "Grand Hotel". Now I'm stuck.
Some things are just too incredibly good.

Did you see the William Wellman bio that ran before A Star Is Born?
It must be "William Wellman night."
Fantastic, and fascinating. And recent! It said "2007." So well done.

Awww, you OK Erika? :)
I just got in from a matinee of Nutcracker and an evening viewing of Sweeney Todd. Both were bloody good!
I sure hope there's something good on TCM next. I already have cookies baking.

Egads it's LOVE STORY.
That's a blast from the 70s.
Well Tanny's never seen it and she's almost fourteen, so I'll see what she thinks of it.

And that over-the-top elevator music!
(You MUST hear the Shirley Bassey remixed version of that song!)
I love that photo, Glebby. They both look twelve.

Did anyone just see that?
Carrie Fisher just discovered that Ruth Gordon and Garson Kanin were husband and wife.

How could she not know?
One of my favorite character actors was in Born Yesterday. Howard St. John. He was great.
