I watch the show and I can't understand what you wrote. I assume that BQ means Beauty Queens, the rest is lost on me.

I'm a TWoP addict! It was devastating, though not surprising, to see Kentucky go. But they just couldn't play the game for themselves and lost valuable time in every leg waiting for their friends to catch up. Not a good strategy, particularly when you're marked for elimination. I would love to see the Pointies and A(AM!) go next. Their smugness during the Fast Forward was more sickening than watching them puke cow lips. BQ and the *wins are also the teams I'm rooting for.

Zzzz, why would I want to read all that regurgitation of what I've seen just to find out what the acronyms mean? Can you just list them please, for the remaining teams?

Because it's freakin' hilarious. It's not just regurgitation. It's witty satire. Some of Miss Alli's Survivor recaps have had me in tears from laughter.

Team Kentucky was on The View yesterday - and they were so delightful. They both got make-overs and looked really great. Rosie has invited them with the kids, and the Cho brothers and Terry and (tom?) -the gay team - on her cruise in February. They also recieved a new car, a new house (and they were told to give the trailor they live in to someone who needs it) and some other things. It might have seemed a bit exsessive - but I thought it was great for them.

ETA: They also mentioned that Mr. Kentucky actually auditioned for Survivor - but the producers wanted two coal minors on the race - Mary said not without me - and that's how they both got on.

Sorry for the acronyms. It's habit now after reading TWOP so often. (Truly, it's not just a recap. It's an experience. I stopped watching CSI after TWOP stopped covering it - some of their writers are so good that the only reason to watch the show is in anticipation of what TWOP will mock later!)

What I was saying is that now I'm rooting for Edwin and Godwin (aka *wins) and the BQs (yes, Beauty Queens). I'm indifferent to Tyler and James (aka Addicts(And Models!) --> A(AM!)) and the Pointies' (Rob and Kimberly) but I would like Edwin and Godwin to go far because of what they did for Kentucky in Kuwait.

Amazing Race season finale tonight! Who'll be watching? I can't wait. I'm disappointed that the BQs aren't in it (especially because I don't think Lyn and Karlyn most positively represent what I would hope in the first all-female team to be in the final three...I'm so put off by their cattiness, their bickering, their lack of appreciation to the Cho bros and their hypocrisy). I'm cheering on Tyler and James and then Rob and Kim. But I won't lose any sleep if an all-female team wins tonight!

Oh, I think you know I'll be all over this. I think I'm rooting for Tyler and James. They really seem like great guys. I'm hoping they sport a long celebratory kiss at the end. I mean, who doesn't think they're a gay couple?

The homoerotic tension between them is something FIERCE! All that meat grinding in the Moroccan sun, piggy-backing through the sticky mud, talk of who's the dom and the sub in their relationship...I might have been projecting that last one...

(Is the airing delayed in NY right now? I've got the Detroit feed and we're still at 60 Minutes.)

Over half the episodes have been delayed this season. Sunday nights in the Fall was a HUGE mistake. And it really screwed up my DVR recordings where I missed the second half of several episodes that I recorded and had to view them online.

Yay Addicts(and Models)! Though they didn't kiss, I think I hear wedding bells! I'm much more pleased over their win than the Godspell guys last season.

That was extremely anti-climatic. In comparison to last season, the final challenge was somewhat easy.

Yeah- I was surprised how "easy" the ending was. I think it was last season that they had to get the flags from every country they went to & put it in order of when they went. This season- find a cab & going to Putnam County? That takes more "luck" that the driver knows where hes going than anything. Running 2 miles downtown? not a big deal...

HOORAY A(AM!)!! Yeah, the ending was pretty anticlimatic (how many hours do you think everyone waited to greet Bama??) but I'll take their win however they can get it!

This is the first season of TAR that I've seen - do they always finish in the US? I suppose it's nice that they can win on home soil but at the same time, wouldn't it be more interesting to win in a foreign country? What's more difficult - getting people who don't speak your language to help you, or getting a New York cabbie to take you to the 'burbs?!

FOX has given Rob and Amber their own show. I saw a advert for it yesterday on the FOX Reality Network - I believe it starts up in January.

Who else will be competeing on the All-Star?

Yes, Rob and freakin' Amber are back. I have no interest in this all star race if they are in it. SO sick of them!!

Tiff - They always end in the US. It is a "race around the world", so they start and end in the US (with the exception of the "Family" season, which was a joke).

Regarding the All Stars, I think the BIG question on everyone's mind is whether Jonathan and Victoria will be back. If so, you know he'll be twice as obnoxious just to get more press.

I hope the All Stars aren't a bunch of disingenuous camera hogs like what happened on Survivor: All Stars. Has each season (with the exception of the Family one) been like this one in quality and the types of contestants they choose? I can't believe I didn't get hooked on this earlier!

And WORD, doodlenyc. Even more aggravating was that Kim kept APOLOGIZING to him about the situation, as if it was her fault! (Good thing the Chos didn't make it to that point, huh? If they hadn't lost already, they would have been out of the running then!)
