Wasn't trying to sound snarky.

You know how sometimes you're watching Wheel of Fortune and you are shouting at the TV cause the answer is SOOOO obvious. But in the heat of competition, when the pressure is on, you blank out and don't see it right away?

Ok, bad analogy LOL ... I don't think they didn't "get it", they probably just had problems putting that knowledge into action. It may be easy to understand in theory but not to execute. And I'm sure some of them had never seen, let alone climbed, a rope ladder before.

Ok, I'm done... Once again, not trying to be snarky.

I get what you are saying, but still, it seemed too many of them didnt get how to actually do it, not that they couldnt do it.

That said, Jon and Kris were the best looking couple ever on ar, but they were also the most fun to watch, sweet, funny, good racers.

Where did you get that info? Unless there was some sort of non-episode interview, Scott never mentioned being gay. He talked about his gay friend, John, but I never heard a word that Scott was gay. At least, neither he nor John ever mentioned Scott's being gay on the show. John, however, practically recreated Fanny Bryce singin' on a ferry every chance he had in the one episode they participated in.

But perhaps I missed the second when it happened because I remember wondering about it for the entire episode. They were "good friends" and John was openly gay. And afraid of flying. And squealed a lot. That was all I remember.

EDIT: I'm just saying I didn't know by watching the show if Scott was gay. If he is, whatever. It was never mentioned on the show as with previous contestants.

Well, he never sucked my **** so I am not for SURE, but I try not to assume such things. I am sure I heard it on the show, cause they werent around long enough to give interviews.

If I am wrong, oh well...they were the couple I was originally referring to.

I have to say, good riddance to Peter.
I'm very sorry to see Sarah go because she was a strong and fair competitor. She carried that team. She deserved better.

I hope I haven't spoiled anything by posting that!

They couldn't find the road block (or was it detour? I can never keep them straight!) site. They got quite lost.

At one point they thought they found it but it turned out to be the Fast Forward location. Peter was quite pleased with himself for having 'found' it, until he realized that it was the wrong place.

I really disliked his attitude. Never willing to share the glory but always quick to place the blame.

They said as much when they were eliminated. They said that they would remain friends but Sarah stated that Peter wasn't someone she wanted to be in a relationship with.

I think she ends up a winner without him in her life!

So glad Peter is gone. What an ass. Sarah didn't seem too broken up that she won't continue the race. I think she's just glad to get away from him. The Chos are rather awesome for paving the way for David and Mary like that. Karma saw to it to keep them in the race. And hooray for team Kentucky! I don't think they have a chance in hell in winning, but I would love to see them in the final three.

Calvin - Rob and Kimberly are this season's Colin and Christy. I would love to see them go away. And the moms are way too whiny. They certainly don't mind trying to manipulate people into not helping the blondes, but if the blondes get around it, they cry "unfair". The blondes aren't doing anything the moms wouldn't do. They just think of it first. Sorry moms, but it's not the blondes' fault they are better players. I think the moms inherited the attitudes of Tom and Terry after they were Philiminated.

I don't like the moms, either. They gripe about the blondes getting people to help them when they're the leechiest team there. I think Team Kentucky will be around until about fourth place. They usually edit it so that a likeable team goes out fourth (the bowling moms, or that old couple with the lady who fell down the mineshaft).

This show is like crack to me. It's the only show I make sure to catch nowadays.

Let's discuss. Sad to see Kentucky go just because Mary was so good-hearted and both of them seemed to really have grown as people while on the adventure. (Much better than your stereotypical Deep South hicks!)

I'm now rooting for the *wins and the BQs. (TWOP, anyone?) I'm indifferent to the A(AM!) and the Pointies' success, but I would really like to see the *wins go far, especially after what they did for Kentucky in that Fast Forward!
